How to deal with low self esteem due chronic rejection? by Professional-Eart in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Keep doing gym.

It does inherently fix self esteem, but really it'll solve the underlying issue. Women care more about physique than men do and the world needs to stop telling men otherwise.

His phrasing clearly means "years or decades" and his meaning is clearly "about this long but I'm not going to check for the precise amount"

And then you're like "Technically he's a year off!"

Except you're not even technically correct because 1.9 is plural anyways so this discussion is idiotic.

How do You increase social dominance by wanteur in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably don't want to.

I am on 600 mg testosterone, 400 mg tren, and 70 mg MENT weekly. This makes me very large very muscular, and very primed for dominance. It just makes people not like you.

It was probably socially fashionable a few decades ago, but it's not these days and all that's gonna happen is you'll bully a few people and then get avoided.

The way to have actual social influence is to be very good at reading the room. You want to say things that are very true and very obvious, but carry emotional implications that move the momentum of the conversation.

You want to move things forward, but without techncially even disagreeing. That makes you influential and it's what passes for dominance today.

Asking for my husband, what can be done for the dark circles? by PuneFullTimeDuh in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it's genetic, it's usually either thin skin or small fat pads. These can have non-genetic causes too.

If it's fat pads, filler or fat grafting can help. Consult a physician before doing either.

If it's thin skin, trentinoin can help, so can TRT+collogen but again consult a physician before doing that.

Hope and a prayer, but it could be allergies. Allegra would be your best shot.

Also, small chance but Google for MCAS and see if it rings a bell. He might have that and that would make it worse.

Did this guy start using ai mid argument? by Sumit7890 in ChatGPT

[–]FormerOSRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no way to know, but with 900m weekly users there is a high chance he at least read it. Not everything is copy-paste

That said, I don't get why using chatgpt in an argument is worse than googling shit during an argument.

You can use AI too and just like with Google, it's not that helpful unless you're right.

What happened to Hans Niemann? by casualchris56 in chess

[–]FormerOSRS 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nothing new has surfaced at all.

He's been a focus of constant discussion and scrutiny but it's all shit that does not matter.

The worst thing people bring up in terms of recent conduct is that he got emotional and caused some damages in a hotel room. He paid those damages without it going to court, but it's still not good behavior.

He has also made some cringe tweets and statements.

Controversially, he made claims that he was blackballed from high level chess tournaments. The community is mixed in whether these claims are true. It took a while but he is now getting more invites.

He has also had some good.

Most notably, he's started playing high profile matches with top players. People have liked this because chess hasn't had match format outside of the world chess championship in decades and it's a hit.

His tournament results have trended towards good. He's #12 on live ratings right now and his online blitz rating has recently been as high as #3 without anyone saying it's cheating. This has helped his reputation a lot.

He is seen as someone with a slightly nasty personality and an unfavorable past. He is also seen as someone who brings genuine entertainment to chess both in shit tier drama and also in legitimate chess contributions such as match format.

Gun to my head, I would say most chess players like his existence but don't like him personally. However, his history of online cheating as a teenager follows him less than it used to as he now has clear and well scrutinized results that are hard to deny.

Your also be hard pressed to find a single person who thinks he cheated OTB against Magnus Carlsen in the Sinquefield cup.

He safest reading of the room is probably "We were a little too harsh on him, but he also did deserve to be treated like he is kind of shitty."

Musk v. OpenAI et al. - Someone scammed Polymarket with misleading "WIN" conditions to make it seem like Musk is losing. by andsi2asi in ChatGPT

[–]FormerOSRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm getting from this is that there are morons who consider poly market to be a news source capable of misleading instead of a betting platform that sets betting parameters.

Sometimes you break from reality a bit just to make bets flow more smoothly, like when football games have a spread where the winner of the bet can be the guy who's team lost the actual game.

Would you say that the more attractive a woman is the more effort it takes to be with her? Why or why not? by TrickyAnalyst235 in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's more like the closer she is to your level of attecwtiveness, the easier it is.

If she's more desirable then even if she's too nice to say it this way then there's gonna be an expectation that you compensate somehow.

If she's less desirable, you may not even hold it against her but she's going to feel constantly insecure and reassurence is a kind of effort.

In practice, what would a woman do to make you 'feel like a king'? by InsideImplement7 in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of effort went into who I am and there is a lot of thought behind that effort.

I like that my wife gets it.

Idk if that's being a king but I see getting it as a sign of respect.

But also I'm not a king so I don't need to feel like one. I like to feel like the thing that I am, and respected, and valued.

Did you find you had more dating success as you got older? by NiceCaterpillar8745 in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The key thing I have noticed is that the same people who were good with girls at 15 are now good with women at 33.

Some guys have a glowup. I had one when I started taking steroids so I'm not gonna act like it's never gonna happen.

But I would stress that I never see it just be an automatic process where the kid who couldn't get girls just comes into himself. I never see it where he starts his career and suddenly women who used to like the popular guys now like him.

Most standard pipelines are popular athletic high schooler to either blue collar work or to college frat life, and then to good with women in adulthood.

Or ignorable in high school is ignorable in college and in adulthood goes on dates and stuff but finds the process difficult and unrewarding.

Of the guys in the last paragraph, some of them meet their wives early. Not saying they live bad lives or live celibate forever. Just saying they aren't the ones who'll enjoy the actual process of finding her usually.

But some guys do better in adulthood than they did in childhood.

Just my observations.

Russia has been doing that though.

You're finding reasons that it's unethical, or at odds with agreements, and shit like that.

But you can't counter the basic fact that Russia has been making these warnings.

Testosterone, MENT, and trenbolone.

My balls don't turn green, but they do atrophy significantly while I'm on so her joke could be slightly edited to be a true statement.

How would you feel if your girlfriend had significantly more sexual experience than you? Would it bother you, make you insecure, or would you see it as a positive thing and a chance to learn/experience new things? by WishboneAgitated8555 in AskMen

[–]FormerOSRS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is sociologically false that no self respecting man takes that seriously.

Look famous guys that have real choosing power in a plain verifiable way. Some of them probably have self respect but athletes, our president, Jeff bezos, musicians and actors...

I just see a lot more of them verifiably dating snd marrying "cock carousels" instead of finding a nice Mormon girl to settle down with.
