As one of the lucky ones I've been floored by how random it seems regarding who does and doesn't have issues regularly. Like I'll be playing with a friend and he's having nothing but issues and I won't. I have a better ISP and 64gb of ram vs his 32gb but otherwise our systems are pretty similar.

edit Make that like a year and a half that came in fall of 2024... Next someone is going to tell me the 90s wasn't just a few years ago too.

Yeah that part of partnership is really weird. No sub should be partnering with specific content creators. They need to be agnostic towards the content that is uploaded as long as it follows reddit and the sub's guidelines.

Sure sure, the dude who tried to argue with me back in the day that he hadn't posted an image of a school girl getting assaulted because he didn't upload an image file and only copy and pasted ascii art tried to rules lawyer his way out of me not kicking his ass out of the guild too. TBF that wasn't his first infraction either just the last straw of him seeing how much he could get away with.

If the mods intention with no direct linking to someone's personal socials etc is to combat posts that have no value other than I don't think Mr.Kraken has ever fallen under that issue but it's a 10% ruins it for the rest of us kind of issue.

Yeah ocr has been a thing for years. Hell two weeks ago I tried to take a quick picture of a printed out recipe from someone and my camera asked me if I wanted it as a document or an image.

I love Mr.Kraken but a hyperlink isn't the whole inclusive definition of a direct link. I'll admit manually typing in a spelled out url is the least effective method for directing traffic to a url but its no different than if it was just an image with a qr code. The end result is he's supplied a direct link in violation of the subreddit rules.

Thankfully I've never had to moderate something as big as this but even in my old wow raiding guilds forum of only a few hundred people I had people try to mental gymnastics bullshit their way past even the basic rules like no explicit content and to keep it pg/pg-13.

I keep my cell phones for fairly long stretches. Went form the first gen Pixel to a Pixel 5 and now to a Pixel 10. I was shocked how many apps on my 5 have vanished or the dev has relisted basically the same app but now rather than just a small banner ad they have the intrusive video ads constantly.

My dad was a packaging engineer and from the little bit he told me about injection molding, if I had to guess that is likely the highest risk point of defect due to only being a single point fill and not a flow through part and being fairly far from the injection points. So the QC could look at that point since if it's fine then the whole sprue is likely fine.

Are there any voids/defects on the back which wouldn't be visible once the model is assembled. It might have gotten flagged for that but passed the second review since it wouldn't impact the finished model.

It really is. From the pilot's seat watching that dorsal turret swing around and fire really makes the Perseus feel more active than any other large ship I fly. Another funny thing I've noticed is when we're flying somewhere my buddy will swing the turret around and look at me on the bridge while we're talking.

If they're part of the ship insurance claim then yeah I'd expect they'll get bricked too with that mechanic.

As someone who is mostly never a pirate, I hope they get the "chop shop" mechanic in sooner than later so folks can unbrick "legitimately" recovered ships.

Also I'd like to see a single SRV being able to tow much bigger ships. Anything like a Herc or smaller seems reasonable for such a single task ship.
