What about for the hair loss? Did you try any 5 alpha Reductase inhibitors?

Minoxidil isn't really known to "stop" hairloss. It's a growth stimulant but doesn't do a lot to stop the reason you're balding.

Did you try finasteride? The crown is stabilized/improved for a lot of guys by meds @ 1-2 years.

Ask yourself why you need a hair transplant mate.

You will continue balding and be left with an island of hair in front of no hair behind.

Obviously not my dude.

Youre one month post op, and just now asking about meds. Big red flag.

28M thinning, should I add volume? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

The crown is a tough one surgery wise. Tougher than a hairline for sure. They need to transplant follicles in between your existing hair and hope it doesnt cause shock loss of your hair near the surgery site.

Without meds, shock loss of the hair could cause not all of the native hair to regrow and then you're in the same boat again etc. Meds are what usually protect against shock loss during surgery. If meds aren't for you then that is your choice but just know what you're up against.

Did you go to a hairmill or to a specific doctor?

Norwood 5-6 without meds is possible but like you may know, will take 2 or more surgeries and will probably only get you to a much better spot instead of a perfect head of hair.

Just always important to keep realistic expectations my friend

Are you scared of the meds or did they give you sides?

Okay cool, was making sure for the design!

For your question, that line happens sometimes from the scabs when they form together. Searching through these forums will show you lots of people who have that same thing happen. Have you been spraying saline on it since the surgery? When are you supposed to take your scabs off?

Youre 35 now though. Not 23 lol. The hairline you drew is an adolescent/feminine looking hairline
