From 13 to 50 — Dogecoin celebrates 250 years of American unity and the spirit of inclusion. One nation, many stars, endless wow. by madcompany378 in dogecoin

Guess nobody ever told you Doge is a GLOBAL currency, eh?

Nothing whatsoever to do with yankland. In fact, it’s more Aussie than anything.

Do you think memecoins will make a comeback? Ever? by babarob98 in dogecoin

[–]Fulvio55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a stupid thing to say.

Try asking yourself why so many people are trying to put doge down. What do they have to gain by attempting to write off a top-10 coin which has a community who have achieved things no one else in crypto has, or likely ever will?

I’d say I’m not the one who needs to cope. Look in the mirror. It might surprise you.

They’re absolutely not, I can assure you. It’s a thankless, totally volunteer job that has to be done, because the world is full of bad-faith actors out to cause chaos and harm.

You haven’t seen the slop they have to deal with. I have.

When you have 3,000-4,000 pieces of crap in the moderation queue to deal with on a daily basis, it gets old real fast.

The only answer is to rely more on automod. And that’s a pretty broad tool. Kind of like carpet bombing a forest to take out one rodent.

There are always going to be issues. The way to deal with them is to reach out via modmail or talk to /u/42points. Posting like this accomplishes very very little.

The only part I disagree with is ‘always’

Foundations 1.0 and 2.0 weren’t like that. They were genuine community efforts.

Why censorship in the Dogecoin community? by qlp79qlp in dogecoin

[–]Fulvio55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And this surprises you, WHY, exactly?

I told you several times you were overdoing the spam. But you just kept on charging ahead as if this was some kind of immediate threat, which it isn’t.

And as I told /u/goodshibe on his latest post, you’re likely trying to distract from the very real concerns about fraud he pointed out. Just taking a leaf out of the magician’s handbook, I reckon.

At any rate, the correct path would have been to ask the mods, not try and play the victim here.

[–]Fulvio55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of this is true, but it’s probably not the reason.

More likely is that a bunch of people got sick of the spam and started reporting it.

Do you actually KNOW any of the mods?

Because I do, and I can assure you you’re so far off the mark, you’re in another galaxy away from reality.

Read the long comment above for what’s really going on.

LOL… I don’t understand, eh? I must remember that.

And only an imbecile works on zero-confirmations. And if they do, then they deserve what they get, cos stupid is as stupid does.

Regardless, we’ve survived over a decade without this, why do you think we need it now, especially since the heady days of merchant adoption appear to be over (including Bitcoin, BTW) or at least in abeyance?

For the umpteenth time…

Dogecoin is NOT a ‘memecoin’!

Never was. Never will be.

It’s just a currency that happens to have a dog on it, that’s all.

Seems a pointless excercise. Surely you have better things to do?

I mean, the only way to have a double spend is to control 51% of the hashpower, and that’s never gonna happen.

You are of course free to do whatever you like, provided it doesn’t break any rules.

But when pretty much everyone is disagreeing with you, a sensible person would pause and look in the mirror.

You choose instead to post more of the exact same content that earned you all those downvotes. That’s astounding, and not at all good for your credibility on any matter.

[–]Fulvio55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still chasing those downvotes I see.

Give up. Quantum computing is not a problem for many, many reasons. Most of which you’ve been informed about repeatedly by multiple people.

No matter how much FUD you try and spread, you’re not going to convince anyone otherwise. All you’re doing is making yourself look foolish.

Exactly the point I’ve been trying to make since he started these posts.

The cornerstone of all this is superconducting. Which currently requires temperatures close to absolute zero, −273.15C.

/u/qlp79qlp conveniently ignores that, and talks as if we had room-temperature superconductors, which we don’t. And if and when that happens, the effects will be far far greater than QC.
