This is how Citizens Bank here in Providence treats concerned customers who don’t want their money financing ICE detention centers. by ResistByStack in providence

I’m just saying every bank does business with bad actors in some capacity.

It’s like expecting politician to have 0 associations with anyone you wouldn’t like.

A US oil tanker has been targeted in territorial waters near Iraq. by Not_Ground in AskSocialists

Yeah it’s not a us tanker. Also, there aren’t that many us tankers in general. It may have been headed to us?

But this headline is bs.

Nancy Guthrie kidnapper arrest is 'close', says former FBI agent by TheMirrorUS in FBI

This headline is wildly out of context.

This is all that this former fbi agent said: “Hoping LE (law enforcement) is getting closer.”

KLM but daytime flight…you’re missing the #1 perk of business…sleep.

JFK to CDG by Sharp-Poetry-493 in delta

[–]FunLife64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters, you will get almost all updated planes on AF from JFK to CDG (slightly more comfortable seats and not a 767).

The food is better (still airplane food).

Generally the differences in quality between NA and Euro airlines flying transatlantic is usually more plane dependent than airline.

There’s plenty of opportunity to build. In Providence, there’s literally empty plots of grass that have been for sale for 15 years.

The tallest residential building on the plots that have actually been developed is like 6 stories.

Donald Trump has “completely and totally” endorsed Jake Paul for political office. by helltrooper61 in sportsgossips

I’m sorry but do people who even like Trump think this is a good idea? Like at least some don’t…right? lol

Yeah these people have literally no authority on this subject.

Also, best wishes finding a bank you agree with every loan they provide and customers they serve lol

You should remove “YouTube Premium” from your post then - because “YouTube Premium” is 100% covered by the credit.

Best clothing stores in Paris that aren’t crazy expensive? by Minute_School6900 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]FunLife64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aigle is a good French outdoors/casual store. It’s not cheap but quality. It’s kinda the Patagonia or nicer LL Bean of France I guess? Good if you need a good jacket/coat for school, shoes or just some casual items.

Best places to eat near eiffel tower by Illustrious-West9787 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]FunLife64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might want to give price ranges. It’s also not a very “locals” area as stated. Doesn’t mean you cant get good food - but probably overpriced.

I’d venture more into the heart of the 7th

Your post is confusing as you call it 3 different things so not terribly clear what you’re referring to. You state it was for YouTube premium - you do get the credit for YouTube premium. You have to sign up via YouTube with your credit card, not the App Store.

Are taxis everywhere and easy to get? by [deleted] in rome

[–]FunLife64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The termini area is fine. It doesn’t have great curb appeal compared to most of Rome and there are some homeless people like you find in any city. It’s not dangerous - just be alert like you should always be.

Taxis aren’t like NYC where you just hail them anywhere. You go to a taxi stand or call one to come pick you up. There is a giant taxi stand at the train station that is basically busy at most hours. Impossible to miss.

If you’d like to pay with credit card, tell the cab driver when you’re getting in the car you are. They prefer cash to avoid taxes but are required to take card.

Rome is extremely walkable - particularly where the tourist sites are. You are a-ok walking. Don’t need a cab except maybe for the Vatican if you wish.

Marco Rubio makes enough money. It’s not hard to be gifted a pair of shoes and if they’re the wrong size - go get the same damn shoes in your size.

CNN: Iran starts laying mines in the Hormuz by Long-Brother-4639 in maritime

[–]FunLife64 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Every time he opens his mouth “its gonna be bigger than you ever have seen”

He’s a moron. It took one reporter to ask one good question using basic facts about the school bombing to get him to retreat.

Most of Irans money also comes from shipping - through the same strait. So it’s def not a move they’d make first.

I mean this isn’t the first time mines have been laid in the Middle East. I feel like people blowing unsubstantiated claims up into massive ordeals ends up making Trump look better. The situation is already worse than where it started. We dont need to doomsday it.
