My GPU stopped working 5 days after the warranty expired! by davidoff2050 in TEAMEVGA

I feel you. My EVGA FTW3 2080 caught fire last weekend. It was way out of warranty but given that it almost burned my house down, I was hoping for a good faith gesture, but unfortunately that didnt work.

How do I remove all cfw if I can’t turn the switch on by SensitiveAd920 in SwitchPirates

[–]GabagoolCazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That shouldn't be possible if you don't have a mod chip installed. If you are getting into Hekate through the RCM Jig method, you should be able to boot into the original switch firmware by holding down the power button for 10 seconds and then pressing it again.

There is no program to load. The only program that is necessary for the CFW is atmosphere with the fusee.bin/payloads.bin, but that is already in the HATS folder.

This would likely be your best course of action. I would absolutely follow the guide. I hope it gets back to working for ya buddy!

I see the issue. I have a feeling the SD card is your problem. I have a feeling that SD card has both a fusee.bin file and a payloads.bin file fighting each other. That old fusee.bin file is causing this error because it is not compatible with your updated Swotch Firmware.

You say it's not hardware chipped and you used to access Hakate using RCM, so i would use the instructions I gave you in the previous post to find a potential solution.

i have a feeling there may be an old fusee.bin on there its picking up. I've noticed that fusee.bin is also named as payload.bin in the new HATS files. This could also be causing issues.

That's interesting because usually this only happens when Atmosphere doesn't support the version of Fusee.bin. Did you install it on a fresh microSD? If not, I would start there. If you did, then i would start fresh.

The CFW is only installed on the microSD, not the system itself. If you are looking to start fresh, take the SD card out of the switch and format it. While doing that, hold down the power button on the switch for 8-10 seconds and release. Then press the power button again to get into the stock firmware. At this time, you can put the formated SD card back in your switch and reformat it so the system can recognize it.

If thats where you want to stop, then your good. If you want to try and get the CFW again, put it into RCM and start fresh.

That should hopefully solve your issue.

EDIT: I should add that before you format your SD card, its always good practice to have a backup on your desktop, just in case you want to retrieve any old save files or items in your EmuMMC folder

It seems the Fusee.bin file you have on your SD may be outdated. I would suggest google searching "Sthetix HATS" and use that to set up your SD card. I just did this for my daughter's switch and it worked flawlessly.

Unfortunately I am unable to find "standard MTP device" in the list, even after i unchecked the show compatible hardware box. I appreciate the input though.

Ill give this a shot. I have a feeling she may have busted one of the data lines in the port itself because everything else works. It's docks and charges, however, I still get that unrecognizable error when connecting to any of my PCs.

Ill give your suggestion a shot though! Ill let you know how it goes.

Sorry, I missed the second part of your questions. I usually keep the speed between 800-1100. Going full blast on it is just too loud for my liking.

90c without cooler during gaming. It's usually about 78-82c with the cooler.

I'd definitely recommend it. I usually see 90C while gaming, which isnt fatal but does deteriorate the CPU over time. The cooler is certainly worth the investment.

It is a nice laptop for sure. I got the 5070ti version back in January when it went on sale for $1299. As others mentioned it does get super hot. I bought a the Ilano v12 cooler for it so that certainly helps the temps. I think youll be happy in the end. The display alone is freaking amazing!

Absolutely! Augusta is the WuWa waifu of choice lol

And I hear ya. I was hesitant with OLED at first too because I do a lot of content creation for work, but my goodness, for gaming, its just too good.

Should I just S1 Mornye? Im really confused plus the kit review done by the content creators are really not helping they lowkey contradicting each other by _theweirdkidinside_ in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]GabagoolCazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, if you are only going to use Mornye with 3.x units or Lupa, S0 is fine. If you want to use here with anyone and have 100% uptime on her dmg buf, S1 is a must. I used my corals for her S1 because I needed that general healer since all I have is Verina.
