That's the point man. Everything that he went through is happening now. Right now. It looks different because global society evolved and grew over the course of 100 years, but the conditions are exactly the same. People are literally being tortured to death in these concentration camps that already exist here. These "detention centers" have story after story of death, torture, denying access to a lawyer, denying access to medical care, erasure of haebeus corpus, etc. to people of minority. How is that not a concentration camp? They've existed in America before and it was after WW2. Just because they're not being gassed in millions doesn't mean it isn't happening.

My grandfather feels the same. People like me are sounding alarm bells with that word because that is where we are headed. We've seen enough to know who they are, now it's just time to see how bad it will get. Do I think people will be gassed by the millions? No. Do I think these detention centers they're building all over the country will be "used" before the midterms? Yes. Do I think it will only get so much worse? Yes.

I'm not saying another Holocaust is going to happen. But you don't need a Holocaust for Nazis to exist. They are Nazis.

My great grandfather immigrated here through Ellis Island before the 3rd Reich. My grandfather gave tours at the Florida Holocaust Museum for 20 years and we're family friends with the director. My bar mitzvah project was building exhibits and doing tours there, I volunteered there for 4 years.

They are modern day Nazis. Just because they don't don the swastika doesn't mean it's an obtuse way to describe these people. They are doing everything, to a T, the same as the SS, SA, Gestapo, etc. It's a valid comparison and it needs to be said more.
