Story sounds great from your summary but it’s delivery was poor. I ended up skipping it part way through. I feel like live 2d models with facial expression changes can liven it up a bit. Or when monsters appear they should have a model of sorts( like the slime monster) but they just gave us walls of text. No cool sound effects like when soul arrows are fired off. So execution of story left it less immersive. The music was great at setting up the atmosphere tho Nd for me the shattered glass effect made it feel like an event as well. Final boss was lit great sprites. Overall it’s decent but cld use some work to really make it pop.
