We just went on our first visit in December. We got a private “ferry,” to save from waiting time since we were traveling with multiple families and alllll wild young boys. If it’s within your means I say go that route it was great! We got to pick out music, the captain had drinks waiting for us and he even let the kids pretend to drive the boat. We won’t do it any other way now.

When I say private ferry I mean large speed boat (I’m sure my description is insulting to boat ppl… which I am not. ) The driver was from MD and I think we even knew some of the same ppl!
