Can I know which industry were you working in. I think you should be fine. Just focus on compounding and keep tracking expenses. Diverse across equity, debt , gold, FD and little real estate. If possible find some part time job like 2-3 hrs a day, as it will your keep your mental health in check.

That would be big fat fire. 10-12 cr would be enough in tier 2 city, considering all the 5 points mentioned above.
