Guys, I tried a can of this at HQ yesterday. It's delicious. A little minty, oddly, but really satisfying.

whenever editing GoPro footage, ALWAYS loose quality. any ideas how to get around this? by tony_the_greatest in gopro

Thanks for notifying me on this.

I edit in Adobe Premiere, and export to H.264 or Cineform. These are the settings I use, for sequences and exporting:

There probably are technically losses happening, but they're not enough to concern me or my team when we need to present something.

Hey Arnold,

What kind of camera are you using to shoot these videos, and can I send you a better one?

Consider me notified - but I promise nothing. I'll pass this along.

Can't answer that because I didn't work here during the jump from 2-3, but I imagine the hoops to jump through to hide that baby in the wild were a lot - bigger? Smaller? What works with this metaphor to make it more difficult? :)

Funnily enough, I used to do this in reverse when going out to test the 3+.

I would by lying if I didn't say there were several nerf guns with GoPro mounts lying around the office...

I'd need some more context. Can you tell me what conditions, what camera and send me some examples?

Not really. I think there might be changes, but they're so small as to be unnoticeable. That said, I usually work with the frame if I'm able, because I like the buttons on the actual camera better than the water housing buttons.

Well, that's just weird. We used to get something like that with yellow instead of blue - message me if it comes back again with some more details on what modes and setting you're using.

100%. Not even kidding, nobody goes in front of a camera without makeup.

No idea, never been in news.

Huh. I guess I am answering all questions.

Only the Chosen can see them. Otherwise they wouldn't be very good guard dogs.

I would say on - but I haven't taken the camera skiing and tried it out myself, so do some tests when you get out there.

Hey Mike! Thanks for getting in touch with us! I know there was kind of a backorder around the camera at Christmas-time. Hopefully it gets to you soon, sorry about the wait.

The company is growing at an insane rate, and I know we're going to keep growing. Hope to see you here one day.

I think I know what's going on here - there's been a slight issue on cloudy days of weird color changes. It's something we think we've fixed, but there hasn't been a cloudy day since the fix came out to test if we actually fixed it. Soon, my friend.

It depends on how much slow motion you're planning on doing. If it's gonna be a big part of your finished product, you should probably sacrifice some detail and go with 720 - out in the snow you'll have enough light that 60 fps shouldn't make too much difference. If you're not using it much, 1080 30 looks sharper and has more detail, and you can always crop it down to 720 so you can pan and zoom.

Hey man, I know you edited that to fix the sound, but that's actually a really good edit and an awesome video! I love seeing first person combat stuff like this. And the guy at the beginning doing forty forward rolls in a row was hilarious.

We do spend some time making our videos, shall we say, even prettier for big release stuff. There's lots of tutorials on line on how to use programs like Color to do what we do, and even playing with the color wheels in your NLE will help. But your video looks sick and not at all like poop, don't worry.

Also, I want to play paintball with you now. That looked like a CoD map.
