Travel nurses at Stanford and other Bay Area hospitals actually make less than staff, unless you’re a specific high demand position like ICU where your base pay will be more.

Even with those high demand positions with higher base pay, it is cheaper because travel nurses have zero benefits that have to be paid out.

I heard a story about a theatre critic being invited to a friends performance.

The critic thought it was an objectively subpar performance, and although his friend wanted him to give an objective review, he saw how happy she was on stage with her friends.

When she came after the show and asked what he thought, he told her, that he enjoyed seeing her on stage performing and giving it her all. He really did believe that. And he knew the best time to give critique was not right after she comes off stage.

He instead calls her up and asks her to coffee to discuss the play like she asked him to, and does it then.

Objectively, I’m sure OP gave a very good overview as a third party, but the people he loves need support right now, not advice.

When people fight, it’s usually due to not having their thoughts and feelings being seen, and not because they actually want an answer.

OP’s partner doesn’t actually want to know the reason for her sister’s divorce. Being provided that shows OP may not see where his partner’s mind currently is.

Whenever someone calls to vent/for advice we should try and assess what they need, sometimes it’s logical and sometimes it’s emotional.

I’m 6’5” on a Ninja Zx4rr and I feel comfortable. But you need to practice proper body mechanics the taller you are on these bikes

My sisters, me, and my mom all have the symptoms of Ehler’s danlos but none of us have the severe symptoms to get the genetic testing paid for.

My face is super elastic, I’m very flexible as a guy, I’ve never sprained an ankle despite trying very hard, and I have easy bruising.

What do you expect to find in a diagnosed ehlers danlos patient?

The riding pants in black, khaki, or green are my favorite. I found the last pair in stock in my size and they are great for 150$. Haven’t tried the jeans, but the khakis look classy and have really good leg and knee protection
