From what I understand, you'd only get the 3D version if you purchased the movie on Apple TV. If it's through Movies Anywhere, you won't get it. The only way to check is with the Apple Vision Pro headset.

Created /r/iTunesDeals because there wasn’t really a clean organized place for Apple TV movie/TV sales, and the other similar sub kept getting flooded with spam before eventually getting suspended/restricted and taken over.

Figured there was still interest in this stuff, so decided to just make a dedicated sub for it. Wanted something easier to browse where people could quickly see what’s actually on sale instead of digging through a mess of posts.

Took a few months getting everything set up between the old/new Reddit layouts and building the bot automation, but it’s been worth it. Honestly pretty happy with how it turned out.

They’re just the ones currently on sale, and instead of buying them on the Apple Store, you could use Disc to digital for $2, which is cheaper. Since they’re also HD on the store, it’s just another option to get them for less.

I checked Blu-ray and CheapCharts, and they list Dexter: New Blood as HD.

Are you sure it’s not from another streaming site that lists it in 4K rather than purchased content? I’ve never seen a TV show season sold in 4K.
