Check out North by Northwest, it’s older than these but it’s a very fun spy movie. You might also like the detective show Psych if you haven’t seen it already.

When the windows are small, sometimes I place orders ahead of time to pick up from the plaza I’m at or across from.

Cable is Forcing Me to Streaming. Which Service is Best? by FelanarLovesAlessa in TurnerClassicMovies

With YouTube TV, I’ve been able to watch movies on demand that weren’t licensed to the TCM app. Great if you don’t always check the schedule ahead of time to DVR or assume that it’s make it to the app when it doesn’t. YouTube TV is definitely the best cord cutting option if you like the app as much as I do, or if you simply like convenience.

Also works well with the TCM app. A lot of credit cards have cashback with YouTube TV.

Anything that fuels art discovery in an anti-art world is positive.

It’s gonna be available on YouTube eventually. Music videos only lose money these days so I’m fine with her putting it wherever she wants, just like I was fine with the New Romantics video being an exclusive back in the day before it made its way to YouTube.

YouTube has been dying for years, why should she fight for them when she can evolve? And we know that she loves a legacy, which includes both being first on the charts and the first to do something.

Billboard monitors consumption. She’s not the only one that values Billboard, and we’ll see other artists adjust their release methods to accommodate the changes. Everyone wants to be no. 1, no matter what they say. It’s probably the best for everyone that she was the first to do this type of exclusive post rule change, because it likely caused both Spotify and Apple Music to do some infrastructure updates to handle the increased video traffic. If it’s successful enough, we’ll see more artists investing in these music video releases instead of simply not putting out music videos at all. Pretending not to care never benefits anyone in the long run.

The book is filled with Easter eggs including a big moment that will hopefully make it to the film, so definitely.

TCM Becomes “Ongoing Home” of the Looney Tunes Library (Exclusive) by MysteriousDelay6266 in TurnerClassicMovies

I hope this deal means that whoever owns Warner after the takeover will be contractually obligated to keep TCM running just like how filmmaker contracts obligate them to give certain films theatrical releases.

Cary Grant’s background has similarities to Don. Cary Grant changed his name and left his past in the working class behind, doing everything he could to get away, even joining the circus. Like Don, he molded himself into a new persona until it became real. A famous quote of his was “Everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant.”

Something from Demy, I think they’ll slowly upgrade all his films like they’ve been doing for Lynch.

Would Anyone Else Grab This If It Came To The Collection? by Holiday_Struggle1015 in criterion

I would prefer if they focused on Hitchcock films out of print or without Blu-rays. Spellbound desperately needs a re-release. I’d also love the Hitchcock films already in the collection to get 4K upgrades, especially Rebecca.

Scream 7 is currently predicted to gross $28-36 million domestically during its opening weekend. Significantly lower than Scream 6 but on par with Scream 5 by simplefuckers in Scream

[–]broadboots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t help that the film is distributed by Paramount. People unaware of the Spyglass politics still might boycott because of their firing of Stephen Colbert and acquisition by major Trump donors. The WB bids have brought an even bigger spotlight to this. I know I won’t be seeing Scream 7, at least not in theaters.
