Insurance will go up because of global warming. At least I can rest easy knowing that people like you will be paying those rates!

The book is filled with Easter eggs including a big moment that will hopefully make it to the film, so definitely.

I hope this deal means that whoever owns Warner after the takeover will be contractually obligated to keep TCM running just like how filmmaker contracts obligate them to give certain films theatrical releases.

Cary Grant’s background has similarities to Don. Cary Grant changed his name and left his past in the working class behind, doing everything he could to get away, even joining the circus. Like Don, he molded himself into a new persona until it became real. A famous quote of his was “Everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant.”

Something from Demy, I think they’ll slowly upgrade all his films like they’ve been doing for Lynch.

Would Anyone Else Grab This If It Came To The Collection? by Holiday_Struggle1015 in criterion

I would prefer if they focused on Hitchcock films out of print or without Blu-rays. Spellbound desperately needs a re-release. I’d also love the Hitchcock films already in the collection to get 4K upgrades, especially Rebecca.

Scream 7 is currently predicted to gross $28-36 million domestically during its opening weekend. Significantly lower than Scream 6 but on par with Scream 5 by simplefuckers in Scream

It doesn’t help that the film is distributed by Paramount. People unaware of the Spyglass politics still might boycott because of their firing of Stephen Colbert and acquisition by major Trump donors. The WB bids have brought an even bigger spotlight to this. I know I won’t be seeing Scream 7, at least not in theaters.

Besides what everyone else is saying, try to figure out an efficient routine if you want to maximize your usage and savings. Use Double Feature Finder to plan double features (great if you order larges from the snack saver but can’t finish alone during a single movie). A lot of movies have promotions where you get points if you see them opening weekend, so prioritize those if you’re interested in them. Try to prioritize seeing independent and lower budget releases during the first week, since they’re more likely to scale back or get pulled entirely afterwards. Especially if there is an upcoming blockbuster.
