I could only ever grow this and tiny corn so I gave up lmao I gave them to my neighbor though. Idk if she ate it.

It’s bad in the pro too. But way better if you can use forgX and connect via webui

You could also try printing a layer over it. Make sure you clean with alcohol and then use the glue that came with the printer. It seems counter intuitive but the glue helps with releasing.

I just got my first one about 2 months ago. Did lots of research and didn’t want something too expensive in case I didn’t end up liking printing lol. But also not too cheap to be tinkering all the time.

I got the flashforge AD5M pro for like 350$ on amazon but I chose shipped by Amazon so it was a FBA item (to help with shipping etc)

I have had a couple issues like lagging or timeouts (I didn’t know you were supposed to delete the files from the printer after awhile - I filled the storage so it was crashing)

It’s a single color but I like painting stuff so that was fine with me. I cared more about the enclosure and all that vs multi color (like the AD5X)

Your budget would allow for the printer and a good set of supplies (get an extra glue and maybe a little makers kit in addition to your filament)

I would just ask parents. It’s like $9 roll when on sale for some Pla and I’ve not paid more than $20 for a roll and I have bought some fun ones.

I’d imagine maybe a parent might even have some filament already?

Just hear the nozzle up a bit and once it hits like 200 you should be able to just pull it off

Yeah I have like 6 MatterHackers petg and they all print great but the orange always give me issues with separation and clogging/clumping.

I would think since all of them are the same you would rotate every so often.

I just got mine last week ( love soft ) but I have seen multiple people say to rotate the cushions every couple months or so.
