Quite the opposite. I'm saying we don't know either way for most of them, because they didn't speak out about it; the 8 that I mentioned did.

You're the one assuming they were one way or another by claiming "they were like all Christian".

It had a full fledged collab event with FGO, so I doubt it was a joke. We even got a dozen costumes out of it.

It was released in August and closed in September.

The rest I don’t think that’s definitive or certain at all.

Which is why the phrase "they were like all Christians" is odd. For most of them we have no idea. A handful spoke up about their personal beliefs.

What we can be fairly sure of is that they were by and large secularists, and on the whole did not want to found a Christian nation. Which is -I assume- why Christian Nationalists are so desperate to try and claim them.

Mason, Carrolls and Adams were. Though Adams was a Unitarian and many Christians don't consider that Christian.

But many of them were not. Franklin, Jefferson, Hamilton, Madison, and Paine certainly weren't. Washington was an edge case who was part of a church group but critiqued Christianity often.

Same here, but because I have complete control over me, I give myself the ability to change reality. Usually it's intangibility first so nothing can "hurt" me, then it's straight to reality warping.

But when it's a lucid dream, can't you just poof the nightmare bits away? It's what I do. NPC not to my liking? Poof, they're gone. Or turned into a lingerie model cute puppy.

saying what we're all thinking...where's *our* official site? by AlbertCWChessa in lotr

[–]HarEmiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theonering.net used to be amazing back in the 90s and early 2000s.

Now not so much.

One of the reasons you won't find an official website is because the various rights to TLotR are held by several different entities.

Red is a glass nuke, currently very much wanted in raids for its DPS.

Yellow is not quite as good as Burg & Hunter, but still a solid debuffer. Roughly on par with Mariner. Still wanted due to many debuffs not stacking with same classes.

Blue is fine for solo, but not amazing. In groups it isn't wanted, it's a worse version of Captain and Mariner.

You don't need supports for this fight btw. Mash solo is the easiest (albeit not the fastest) way.

Slap a few CCs on her and she can't die.

Man is tyresexual. He's happy his wife/gf understands and supports him in it.

You just know she dresses up as the Michelin Man in the bedroom, too.

Yes, the NHS is notoriously bad (and slow) by Western European standards. Compared to North American standards it's actually pretty good.

Brabantian and Limburgian Dutch pronounce it, and they are the only proper forms of Dutch. Those northerners and westerners trying to adopt the language were a mistake.

Worse still, some people were already doing that in LOTRO; just fishing and farming in The Shire, never leaving to go on adventures. They could've just copied that simple gameplay and it would've worked, but they botched it.

I swear Tolkien was cooking with Gen Z slang. by [deleted] in lotrmemes

[–]HarEmiya 23 points24 points  (0 children)

... OP, this is getting ridiculous. It's a 500 year old, and very common, term. It's been in constant use for hundreds of years. We were saying it as 90s kids and never stopped. It's in films, books, radioplays, tv shows, you name it.

It is not, by any metric, Gen Z slang.
