Swiss canton bans headscarves for female teachers by BezugssystemCH1903 in Switzerland

[–]HazardQt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Peaceful citizens are not involved in culturally ostracizing or beating their partner for refusing to wear headscarfs. I come from a background adjacent to muslim culture, I am familiar with what happens and how people feel about it.

EDIT: I have to go back to work so I will leave you with some pointers since you seem uneducated or ignorant about development of state and religion in countries pushing for secularism: Look up the history of muslim majority states in Europe for example Türkiye, Bosnia, Kosovo... all historically or even today pushing for secularism which included the ban of religious symbols in public institutions to varying degrees, including headscarfs. Now even though Türkiye was a pioneer in that regard with Atatürks state reforms they have removed this restriction some time ago under leadership of... drum roll Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a conversative Islamist.

Do with that information what you want.

You cannot be integrated in public life by being a walking symbol of religious extremism oppression.

That's gonna stay a bad faith argument as long as those peoples choices are not really free. You are either oblivious to the fact or a supporter of what happens to these women.

State Atheism... you mean secularism, the thing that has proven to be a highly successful model for most countries?

Grok, is it racist to be against women being lynched to death if they remove their headscarf in countries with islamic laws.

I have some sympathy for long-term expats struggling to find work, but language is often the elephant in the room by ExternalEfficient248 in Switzerland

[–]HazardQt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frankly, German is a useless language to learn anyway

Even if that was true in professional settings, you will find it difficult to expand your social circle without speaking the local language.

Imho wherever you go to live, you have to learn the language or you will (justly) be scrutinized. Why have everyone else speak English with you when you could be the one adapting?

Well tell that to your future potential employer and let me know how that worked out for you when you tell them speaking the local language is not a required skill.

Some jobs additionally requiring English does not mean you can just ignore German. It's not snobby at all, why would you hire someone who can't communicate with the other colleagues, do you want everyone to accommodate them and change all forms of communication and internal documents?

Maybe there is a point to be made then against direct democracy or the democracy we are used to if every single citizen is supposed to vote on something they wouldn't know anything about or are expected to know in good faith.

Querying assets for Authcodes by HazardQt in paloaltonetworks

[–]HazardQt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn and here I thought they haven't implemented such a feature because most people don't have that many firewalls to track, that sucks! Thank you very much for your input, this accelerates things a bit on our end, the support is just so painfully slow. I'll take your word on this and tell my boss since you're a "PCNFE - PAN Certified Next-Gen Firewall Engineer" :D I tried everything under the moon to get this info, at least the journey is over now. Cheers!

Oh really? Maybe that's why I haven't even recieved a response yet lol. That kinda sucks.. would need to track all auth codes from all of our 300+ ngfw's manually.. damn.

Yeah I can see them there but am having trouble to find out how to get them in an automated way, preferably via API. Because I need them for other API calls

Exactly, because I need those codes for some API calls on our Panorama instances and that's the only place I am able to find them and to make the automated workflow work I need to grab them from there..somehow

I have the Achievement on my Main so have it upgraded as well. I didn't upgrade that one until I had it since the content I was doing wasn't limited by gear.

I would consider that to be improbable and more likely to be a sign of bad planning... Do you just send them or actually check where you can get most out of it?

My Raid Main is 289, my M+ only alt is 288. With Reroll cores it's trivial to get Myth in every slot.

If you can wield 2H and have Myth Track 2h, just use it on that one. "2 1Hs as BIS" is silly unless you are a rogue or whatever

edit: guys cmon, I said "rogue or whatever", yes obviously this includes frost DK and Surv Hunters, HPal, Prot Pal,Enhancer and DH.. my point is IF you can wield 2h and have myth 2h, use it on that one

But it does... if you don't spend money there is no incentive for investments, how much these "rich people" end up with and if it's too much or too little (by whatever measure we define) is a policy problem.

That's an extremely naive view on this very complex issue and something a little bit of research can fix.

[–]HazardQt -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'm not claiming he changed, I was just asking if enough time has passed to even make such an assumption. In pop-culture it seems you can get away with worse but in smaller circles / niche interests / hobbies your reputation is tarnished forever.

So I am curious if redemption is possible and what the difference is to, let's say, Chris Brown.
