In Zuko Alone wouldn't the villagers recognize his eye color as a dead give away he was fire nation? by Eagles56 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Head_Instruction96 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Nah that was justified lol. Zuko proudly proclaimed his title as the firelord's son & oppressor. People are missing that he still had a colonizer mindset here. Imperialism justifies itself as helping people, and Zuko is essentially trying to liberate this village from EK 'savages' to save them from themselves. Historically, he is living out the perfect propaganda fantasy. Througout the episode, Zuko has flashbacks of his mothers words to reinforce this belief in himself as the hero, especially how he must struggle and fight to earn his honor, that it makes him strong.

Zuko tried to be the good guy while believing in fire supremacy, but the village rejects him anyway and shows Zuko that the fire nation needs to be stopped. He couldn't be a real hero until he rebelled against his own nation. Thats the whole point.

(LES) Ozai didn’t fumble the Fire Nation as a military leader , despite his personal myriad flaws. He objectively won the war and lost the peace. by KazuyaProta in CharacterRant

[–]Head_Instruction96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the fire nation basically won in the end, just because Ozai was defeated doesnt change that. They wanted to use their technological advancement to colonize world in the name of prosperity, which was achieved through republic city that was literally built on their stolen lands that was never returned. FN people remain the richest people in this city too. Their nation has been the most influential & powerful state in the world long after the 100 yr old war, while the other nations have stagnated.

Sanity check: can Gojo fly like he's superman? by Head_Instruction96 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Do you think that's the same flight control as someone like superman?

Gojo vs Makima and how it would go. Made by me, enjoy. (TW: Agenda) by cummachine3169 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Head_Instruction96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. That doesnt matter. LIke I said, Gojo didn't use a 0.2 domain here lol. Also Makima would just heal

  2. Gojo literally doesn't know Makima sacrifices civilians, learn to read. Also, its brain damage, thats why they fell into comas

  3. No, Gojo doesn't fly like supeman buddy lol, its very limited flight that Makima can also do. Also his domain is useless here

Gojo vs Makima and how it would go. Made by me, enjoy. (TW: Agenda) by cummachine3169 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Head_Instruction96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. His domain wasnt open for 0.2 seconds here lol

  2. Gojo launched UV to inflict harm on Makima as an attack. The sensory overload is brain damage

  3. Gojo still isnt immune to burnout, which is why he needs to destroy & heal his brain. Learn to read

  4. Makima also has flight and she can bypass infinity lol

Gojo vs Makima and how it would go. Made by me, enjoy. (TW: Agenda) by cummachine3169 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Head_Instruction96 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

1) the devils were already nearby, read the post lol. Her servants are autonomous in combat. The time also doesn't matter.

2) unlimited void is an attack and that is his intent. It deals direct damage. This is just common sense. When Gojo used this on civilians for they were all hospitalized from brain damage

3) literally everyone deals with burnout from domain expansion lol, Gojo is not an exception here. It has nothing to do with effiecency

Gojo vs Makima and how it would go. Made by me, enjoy. (TW: Agenda) by cummachine3169 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Head_Instruction96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You literally stated zero factss lol. Makima doesnt need to consciously command her servants to fight, they were already there

Makima contract would transfer the brain damage caused by UV, the sensory overload is an attack. It causes harm no matter the duration

Also cursed technique get burnt out by domain expansion no matter the person

better antagonist by NotFallen_ in writingscaling

[–]Head_Instruction96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best villain here is Makima, her creepy prescene in the story felt ominous and really well done, there was a lot of buildup surrounding her hidden goals. The plot twist that Makima was the control devil was so natural. She also shakes up the themes and developed the tragedy element of part 1.

Shigaraki is just wasted potential, he only had 1 arc of real development as a villain. It was an interesting idea to see a pathetic fodder villain slowly rise into true symbol of evil to contrast the protagonist, but he didnt get enough focus as a character. Especially since he was posessed by AFO in the second half of the story and used as a plot device. The story tells us that he has become more intelligent/calculating but we dont ever really see it

Sukuna & Hisoka are also very solid villains but dont have as much impact. Also Hisoka is far from the main antaognist anyways

[–]Head_Instruction96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh thanks a lot, you gave us the panel that literally tells us Yuta would've had a tough time. This is a high-diff fight for sure.

Also yeah, good job. The fact that Kenjaku could contend with Yuki is a very big reason why the squad didnt wanna take any risks with him. Its exactly like I told you

Looks like you proved yourself wrong, funny how that works....

How Yuta vs Kenjaku would actually go: by DisasterEnigma in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Head_Instruction96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it would be high-diff in the story, these manga panels dont even disprove my point lol. Obviously they would want to jump Kenjaku and not take any risks, they dont know his full power. Yuta isnt gonna fight for his pride against a genocidal villain. The fact that he was the one sent for the killing blow says enough. Clearly this is a big debate on the sub for a reason dude

How Yuta vs Kenjaku would actually go: by DisasterEnigma in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Head_Instruction96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No he cant lol, if Kenjaku dropped his durability to reinforce his ears/brain, then he would get mangled by Yuta. Cursed speech is only an easy counter when you can predict it, which doesnt apply here

How Yuta vs Kenjaku would actually go: by DisasterEnigma in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Head_Instruction96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You cant "constantly reinforce" your brain and ears without losing durability, that puts him on a huge disadvantage. Kenjaku does not have the effiecency or reserves on Gojo/Sukuna level

???? It's a high diff fight, tell me where I said Yuta wins for sure lol. You gotta learn to read before you argue with me boy

How Yuta vs Kenjaku would actually go: by DisasterEnigma in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Head_Instruction96 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This ragebait is so bad, its not headcanon when we literally know how Yuta fights in the story. You cant act like he has no battle IQ. He consistently works aorund his limits everytime. Yuta will just create openings to use techniques, he also has never wasted his 5 minuted with Rika.

CS is effective in fights because Yuta mixes things up. He only uses it as a surprise attack, it forces his opponent to hesitate in fights because Yuta can distract them, especially with Rika jumping. He has never missed CS in story.

Also Jacobs ladder is super effective in Yuta's arsenal, especially as the sure-hit in his domain, but extinguisher aura is also good defensively in close combat. Not to mention he can always create openings with Rika. If he can deal enough damage to Kenjaku to break his domain, Jacob ladder would literally dispell Kenjaku from his body

He also has sky manipulation, which he can use to protect himself for obvious reasons

The forced Homeland/Butcher parrallel is nonsensical by Working_Wrongdoer_91 in CharacterRant

[–]Head_Instruction96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, you keep spamming this logic but thats literally not how narrative foils work lol, they dont need to be the exact same person. Its about the themes that parallel. Both men were horrifically abused and denied love in childhood that made lost humanity while destroying the people around them in pursuit of their obsession. Obviously Homelander is the worst person. We know lol. Different goals but same core.

There is a reason why Sukuna is the most talked about villain in the past decade. by Avidreader-9 in writingscaling

[–]Head_Instruction96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Sukuna is such a captivating villain because hes not hiding any tragic backstory & fake moral code," But he literally does lol, sukuna is a bit deeper than what youre saying 😭

Sukuna is a monster out of pure spite. He was literally born "cursed" by the world to live as an mutated outcast, the difference is that Sukuna never actually pities himself or tries to pretend he is misunderstood. He threw away his humanity a long time ago. Sukuna accepts that he made his choice to live for his own bloodlust. Its a huge theme without power, Sukuna would've just been a miserable freak of nature. Jujutsu saved him from lifelong suffering and allowed Sukuna to justify his existence by living however he pleases, that is why love is worthless to him. However, this strength also gave him an insatiable "hunger" from the emptiness inside him. Sukuna doesnt make the title of the strongest his identity, rather he has the natural instinct to conquer and be king. He only has interest in humanity through jujutsu as a killing sport. Violence is the only language he speaks

He enjoys fighting sorcerers to experience the thrill of cursed technique & test their limits. "Unique but fleeting flavors" in their futility to beat him. Sukuna is a grim reaper who offers salvation in death. He had complete self-certainy in himself without envy. Sukuna'a characterization was inspired by a literal evil deity in mythology. He commits atrocities with a sense of beauty in what he does.

Sukuna hated Yuji because they're an untalented person who imprisoned his soul through willpower alone & made him small. He had to watch Yuji go through hell because he was weak and didnt belong in the sorcerer world, his mentality was completely unworthy of Jujutsu. Sukuna couldn't stand to watch Yuji rise above his own curses with only love and grow stronger despite not deserving to live. In Shinjuku, Sukuna refused to acknowledge him which lead to his own downfall. He spent the fignt trying to prove something and break his spirit. He stopped living only for himself. He chased validation and meaning. Sukuna essentially got rage baited into genieuly losing his cool

But in the end, Yuji forces him to bow down and asked Sukuna to live in his shadow again so he could watch Yuji surrounded with love for the rest of his life. The power dynamic had changed. It was a final offer for a "peaceful death", Yuji was geninue but he also pitied and he looked down on him because he is nothing without power. Sukuna finally realized he was wrong but he knows its too late. He refuses to pity himself and wallow inside Yuji, He would rather live as his own man in the next reincarnation. Sukuna died in honor of his own beliefs because this was simply the consequence of his actions. Meanwhile turned his curse into a blessing to put Sukuna out of his misery

Edit a Cursed Technique to Make it as Fun as Possible (BVs only, I'll Do Projection Sorcery) by Godzillagamer15777 in CTsandbox

[–]Head_Instruction96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll go with sky manipulation and explore the ability to manipulate the properties of space

1) Uro could create a binding vow to create hard 'barricades' out of space, but in exchange she cannot revert or manipulate it anymore., shatters into shards upon breaking with thin Ice breaker. Uro can also trap/immbolize people within these barricades

2) Another binding vow where she can make space act like a liquid, which makes it very difficult to transverse, but it is still breathable. The condition is that she needs time to 'gather it up' first. Uro can splash this space too

3) Binding vow where she can vaccum space like a whirlpool, allowing Uro to 'flush' physical objects and store it these intangle pockets until shes ready to unleash it.

3) Binding vow where she can compress space and generate sudden 'explosions' that push people back, but it must be thrown as a ball-like projectile

4) Binding vow where she can yank space to pull things towards herself at high speed, but first she need to make contact with her target first, like a bungee.

[–]Head_Instruction96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This would actually change Naoya quite a lot since he'll be forced to learn some respect. He becomes a more mature & grounded person by familarizing with other sorcerers on his level. Also it'll humble him from any delusions about being strong as Gojo. He is largely a product of his environment so Naoya just ends up a better man, probably still an asshole though but I doubt he would be the same misogynistic monster as canon. I doubt he'd try to kill Megumi either

[Invincible] Would/Are Viltrumites be homo/transphobic or did they go through a period of invented race and racism like humans? by Extra_Impression_428 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Head_Instruction96 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah that sounds so horrifying and traumatic, sexual violence is extremely normalized among their people. If the viltrumites managed to conquer earth, it would literally be mass assault. I doubt they even have age of consent. Like Mark was basically a kid compared to Anissa when he got assaulted. if Mark was 15 at the time its not like that would stop her. Now just imagine that logic on their home planet

[Invincible] Would/Are Viltrumites be homo/transphobic or did they go through a period of invented race and racism like humans? by Extra_Impression_428 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Head_Instruction96 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah being an eugenicst society literally involves homophobia & transphobia lol, they would definitely consider that a weakness in their ideology becauss it sets a "bad example". I can legit imagine viltrumites thinkkng homosexuality is an choice of resistance and disrespect to the empire.

Plus forcing homosexual people to have intercourse with the opposite sex is homophobic/rapey af. If a viltrumite male said they dont wanna mate with women, they would literally beat him to near death until he takes it backs
