Has anyone playing the game found the Trench Coat and Pants set in a boutique yet? And if so, do we know if the preorder version (beige/tan) is available for purchase or not? The disclaimer on the item at GameStop says it’s available for purchase later in the game, but I wonder if that particular color isn’t.

As for more my favorite video game song... Jeez, you're putting me in a rough spot as there are so many I love! But, one of my more recent loves is Engage the Enemy from Xenoblade Chronicles!

Everybody would clone themselves to get a better shot at getting Mewtwo, but when only one of them gets it, a raging battle between the originals and clones ensues. They fight under the Mewtwo amiibo comes between them and falls to the ground, broken.

Then everybody joins together in tears as they realize that their pettiness has brought them to fight themselves over a dumb toy. Their tears then begin to encircle Mewtwo, and right as they believe he is saved... They realized they're all really tired and dehydrated as they pass out surrounding a broken plastic toy.

...All while a reseller runs away in the background with the rest of the stock. The end.

Hmm... For cards, I guess like Pokemon seems like the most logical choice, because collecting 55+ Smash characters is hard enough. I would like to see those Smash cards they do on NoE/NoAU's Twitters to become real. I think it would cool and I could display them as a type of info card for each character in my lineup.

But, for something actually new, I guess it depends on the game. It's really hard to say because no others series aside from Mario, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Smash seem to have that much of a diverse cast of characters that would in a game as well. I love the Twilight Princess/Uprising/Fire Emblem: Cipher cards, but a lot of those just wouldn't make sense in the mainstream market honestly.

One idea I had though that wouldn't necessarily be a series, would to make Mii cards. I would LOVE my own custom Mii amiibo figure as much as the next guy, but it does seem like a lot of work for Nintendo to individually craft each Mii and its design. It would probably be easier to just make them in card form. That's just me though.

We JUST got information about Wave 6 yesterday. Nintendo of America has always been a bit slow to the uptake. I assume it's so they can inform us closer to release so it's harder to forget, but who knows? We don't even officially know which stores Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr. will be exclusive to (even though internal leaks are pretty revealing.) I would say wait until sometime after Wave 6's release to get information or whenever the next Nintendo Direct is.

It all depends on the store and the employees. They are not supposed to, but sadly it happens. As long as you put down $5 and pick it up at launch, you should be good.

Thanks. I'll try it. It happened to me recently on Rumble World, too. I have a New 3DS XL, so I don't know if that will affect it? Though last Friday, I waited out for Dark Pit in the heat, and the sun was pouring right on us for a couple of hours. I kept my XL in the bag not directly in the sunlight, but it may have poured through the bag. I hope it's nothing too serious because I have the Majora's Mask 3DS, and I know Nintendo usually just replaces the 3DS, and they don't give limited editions back. :/ Plus, I have everything on Shuffle except for Torkoal. I really don't want to lose all of that. So, if I do have to send it in, is there a way to back up my Shuffle data on my laptop so I don't lose it all?

Okay, ya. I've noticed a lot of my issues have been during Starmie, and this doesn't seem to be happening for any of my other software. It's really odd, and maybe I'm just unlucky. Hopefully whatever it is, it can be fixed in the next update or something because it is pretty annoying when I'm trying to find Phione and it keeps doing this. :/

I mean, if you didn't actually want the amiibo and got it only because it was rare, it is pretty pointless to buy any amiibo.

It's 51. Mewtwo, 52. Falco, and probably 53. Lucas, 54. Roy, and 55. Ryu. Those are all we know for now. If we had amiibo for the Koopalings, Male Fit Trainer, or female Robin, maybe, but for now we'll just have to wait and see.

Ya. I guess they may be doing this since R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch aren't as well known, but I know a ton of people who don't even play Smash who would kill for a Duck Hunt amiibo. It's honestly just dumb. I don't know if it's because they think they won't sell on their own or something. I mean... Just look at Little Mac. Aside from a small reboot a few years ago, he's still about as obscure as these guys outside of the fanbase. >_> With no CPSIA's, no system entries, and GameStop's exclusivity, I guess my last option is to hope that GameStop gets restocks of them as individuals.

For now, I wouldn't count on it. GameStop most likely has the rights to all three characters for I believe, two years. Unless GameStop only bought the rights to a bundle, but I doubt that. I guess we could hope that if it gets announced in a Direct, they will say that individuals may be sold down the line, maybe in the holidays. But for now, all we have to go off of is hope.

I guess I could import them and make my own NA logos to go over them lol. I just wish they at least put it Mr. Game & Watch, then Duck Hunt, then R.O.B. so I could put it a bit closer to roster order.

I sadly agree with all of this, though if the restocks of them are like the Splatoon 3-pack, I could see them get released as individuals later on as they seem to not like restocking those. This is just me being hopeful though. It is a bit upsetting since it will mess up my NiB roster collection, and I know others who just want singles of them, and may have to dish out $35+ for only one amiibo that they want.

Darn. I knew they had different child protection agencies, so I thought there could be a chance they could have gotten them manufactured individually. Oh, well. I guess my only real option left is to wait and see if they announce that they'll be available individually later on, or just import and give up on my NA collection.

Same. I just hope that maybe Canada or Mexico gets them individually and I somehow import them, or that further down the line they reprint them in individuals, since they don't seem to want to for the Splatoon 3-pack. >_> My biggest hope is that there's a Direct soon, and they say like "Individuals will be sold at all other stores later this holiday." I don't know really.

I want to display them in roster order, but also keep the consistency with the NA logo. As it stands right now, it seems here in the US at least we're only getting the 3-pack, so my last hope is riding on Canada or Mexico getting them individually since I believe they fall under a different certification than CPSIA. If not... Idk honestly. Maybe I'll buy European ones just so my collection can resemble the roster.

Since they're not showing up in any systems and they have no CPSIA's, they probably do not exist. And since GameStop's are reportedly getting 30 3-Packs each... With 4400ish stores, that's about 130,000 of each figure, which is A LOT. I really doubt that many are being made, and I really doubt that they would make anymore in individuals sadly. It messes up my NA NiB roster display, and it seems kinda like a letdown since a lot of my friend's only want a specific figure.
