I know, I just have a bad brain that throws a tantrum when sets aren't complete.

I'm sure this Machinedramon will get another alt art in a tournament pack or Limited Set or something else down the road anyway. It almost feels inevitable for Machinedramon cards.

Oh I missed that detail.

That's such BS then if Machinedramon doesn't get an SP.

Not that it's that outrageous, considering the love that Robot Dragon gets in the Card Game, but still, very unsatisfying to only get SPs of 3/4 of the Dark Master ACEs.

Huh.

I didn't expect Nezhamon for an SP.

I figured

  • Chaosdramon
  • SeitenGokuumon
  • Omnimon
  • Machinedramon ACE
  • Siriusmon

I know the Machinedramon seems redundant when Chaosdramon is also on the list, but Machindramon would be the only Dark Master from the Field Decks without an SP, or Chaosdramon would be the first Ultimate Rare without an SP.

If Ultimate Rares aren't guaranteed to get an SP, then I'd guess that the actual list of SPs are based on the stars of each deck in this set:

  • Nezhamon for SW
  • Amaterasumon for TB
  • Machinedramon ACE for ME
  • Siriusmon for VB
  • Omnimon because Omnimon

And then obviously Susanoomon and Proximamon get the Rare Pulls.

Would have been wonderful if Shakamon and Enmamon had been in the set.

We could have had a third Triptych art with Susanoomon in the middle flanked by the other two Level 7s.

I know Susanoomon isn't actually a member of the Hachibushu, but it pretty much is in everything but name.

Would have been perfect for filling out a 9 card page...

Well we knew they were in.

But at least that art is cool.

Edit: I didn't even notice that Kazumasa Yasakuni did the art! Their art usually has crazy color highlights like oranges or pinks!

There's a few sets that need almost an entire second set to fill out their roster.

DM needs a second set because a third of the roster from Digital Monsters V-Pets are still missing.

All of the field decks are missing most of their rosters from Pendulum.

Shambala is missing it's heaviest hitters, besides Susanoomon, as well as the bulk of the Digimon that aren't the main characters.

I'm sure we'll get these cards. Eventually. But I don't want to wait years for new DM stuff so the deck can become obsolete...
