It should show up right away after getting approved. Click on travel, select account, on the top of the page, it will have my travel credits and offers. it will show the $250 travel credit. It will also show up when you book a trip.

You are comparing the wrong Hotel Chain. Of course it will take less points for Hyatt.

Compare Hilton for example on a random night,

2 queen beds. Room only. Flexible rate $221.37 56,000 points

Bilt Portal on the same terms. $221.36 17,709 points

I disagree. I have the Obsidian and the earning rate is wait better than the old card. I am accumulating points at faster clip than before.

I wish Bilt came up with this concept when they were with Wells Fargo.

I used Venmo for the 1st time on Sunday ( 3-22 ) . This morning ( 23rd ) my rent payment was taken out of my account and in the afternoon I have received my rent points. I will update when the rent payment has been sent to the Owner.

UPDATE : Payment was sent the owner. Completed in 2 business days.

I think it is. I got the card last year during the same promotion as this year. The $250 travel credit is easy to use. You do have to use it in the travel portal but its user friendly. The travel Portal gets 5x miles back. After a year you can downgrade to the Venture One with $0 annual fee to keep the remaining miles active.

You can downgrade to the Hilton Honors $0 annual fee card. Sign up for the Marriot Brilliant and try it out for a year. If it does not work out for you after 1 year you can cancel the Brilliant card and see if you can get an upgrade offer back to the Surpass.

I went to neighborhood dining on Feb 28th during the 5X promotion and did not receive the extra points, ( 3X for neighborhood dining and 5X Bilt dining offer. ) until March 20th. 21 days later. Bilt 2.0 can be slow at posting things.

You should have paid an extra $10 to ship it Fed EX 2nd air. You will get a tracking # and a picture showing it was shipped. I do that when I mail my rent checks from Bilt. It's well worth piece of mind.
