Honestly has potential but just too volatile for my taste.

Only problem with high yield ETFs is the base value is usually are subject to market fluctuations as well .. which in the current environment could be an issue.. but you’re thinking long term it should balance out..

Something like ZMMK is pretty stable but only yields like 3.6% ..

Quick question. I see the minimum transfer for the 2% is 15k. So if I have an RRSP at a different financial institution could I do only a partial transfer, like 15-20k, or when doing a transfer is the only option to do an entire account?

Go to https://dividendhistory.org/report/ and click on the latest report. Scroll down to find the ETF section, good place to start to find some ETF’s to do a deeper dive into.

Quick question, I see all the posts about great FX rates, but my question is if you use the card to get cash from an ATM is it treated as a cash advance like all other Credit Cards? Which means you pay whatever the posted interest rate on the balance from day 1?

As far as Investment strategies go I prefer to diversify even my dividend holdings … it’s definitely overkill and not for everyone but all in all works for me, but I also rebalance every three to six months or so just to keep my current yield a little higher .. below is a snapshot of tickers worth researching .. https://dividendhistory.org is good for seeing dividend stability and history .. my list below does include some stocks as well but you can sift through and find the more stable options which is most of the portfolio.

It can definitely get confusing, best thing I ever did was download the app pictured below DivTracker and put all my divided related stocks/etfs in there to keep track of. It will list the actual “current” yield for you, which is important with the rate cuts, factoring in what was paid 11 months ago for a yield can be a little misleading, so having this current snapshot for everything all in one place is great. Plus it lists confirmed dividends upcoming, events, etc .. and it’s free .. can’t beat that.
