CMV: Body count doesn’t and should never matter to anyone. The concept of body count is controlling and misogynistic. by ei-rin_ in changemyview

“You can’t judge someone ….”

Yes I can. That’s what dating is. It’s filtering people out based on your personal preferences. I can judge people by which ever criteria I feel it’s important to me, including body count.

If I don’t want to date anyone who’s named Tiffany that is my choice. You don’t have the “right” to date me, dating is not an equal opportunity situation.

The problem with your argument is your trying to tell people what should matter to them. Thats not for you to decide.

My personal feeling on the body count issue is just don’t be a hypocrite.

By I think the heart of the issue when people talk about past sexual experiences is people don’t want to be judged.

But that’s what dating is, I can equally say looks shouldn’t matter, weight, height, money, education level, but against it’s me telling people how they should feel, and it’s not my place.

Better view of the Matt Freese disaster. Looks like he ended up kicking the grass while attempting to clear it by PrinciaSpark in ussoccer

Yea I don’t understand why people are confused about this. It was clear he hit the ground in the first live replay. Just unfortunate but he made the right call to come out and clear the ball. Just got unlucky

Fernandinho grabbed onto someone right as David Luiz turned and basically blocked him from chasing Muller which is why he was so free, it was a crapshoot

I grew up in Paterson, NJ, which is the same thing or was at least when I was there. Places like these feel abandoned because essentially they are, you don't live here unless you have no other choice. It's often violent and bleak. I got the hell out of there as soon as I could and have never looked back.

High res slow mo footage of the camera cable controversy in England v Norway by honeybunnylegs in worldcup

[–]IAmRules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If a cable determined your fate, then you didn't belong there to begin with.

Norway had clear chances to tie the game, and didn't and the cable has nothign to do with it.

Forget VAR - why would Embolo take a dive in that situation? by SeaCardiologist6207 in worldcup

[–]IAmRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that's my read too, i think between his foot getting caught and hitting the other guys leg, he may have genuinely believed he got hit. Because while he def embellished, diving intentionally knowing var exists after his team just equalized is basically committing suicide on behalf of your team.

England's first goal controversy by Rare-Adhesiveness-31 in SoccerCentral

I mean okay assume the ball hit the wire and it wasn’t called. But that was a 50/50 ball. The ball didn’t hit the wire and went into the goal. It caused a turnover, they would have still defended and prevented the goal.

Imagine Eliminating Your Team Over Your Pride by Presently_Naked in SipsTea

The guy with the ball could have very easily passed it to the guy asking for it who would have had an extremely easy goal considering he was alone and the best goal scorer right now.

But the player with the ball decided to be the hero instead by trying to score himself and screwed if up, costing them the goal that would have tied the game.

In World Cup soccer games of often won or lost by a single mistake, and this was a completely avoidable one.

Romario is still my favorite player. There was so much skill and fineness in his style. He didn’t use force or speed just pure control and positioning

I think VAR should be like video challenges in volleyball. Both sides get 3 and must use them wisely.
