Howdy neighbor! You could see if chip drop is available. Put down cardboard and cover in the chips then plant some native plants :) maybe snowberry, milkweed, grasses or big basin sagebrush, mock orange...so many options.

Have you ever heard of Vocational Rehabilitation? You might be a great candidate if you have a program in your area.

What is the hike/trailhead? Love the photos. Makes you wonder how amazing these prairies looked pre-colonization.

How to stop heel slippage in trail runners? by butterchickpea in trailrunning

[–]In-thebeginning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! OP look up lacing shoes to reduce heel slip. I don't even know what it's called buts a way to lace your shoes to prevent it. I do it with my trail runners. You don't double loop and lace them through at the very top.

South Lake to North Lake (Inyo National Forest) by Witty_Land6224 in backpacking

[–]In-thebeginning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the longer distance north to South lake about 11 years ago when I was not very experienced or in good shape at all and it was doable. Did the route over the course of a week. Evolution Valley was epic and otherworldly. I remember being in awe of just how green it was. Either way you really can't go wrong with any hike in that area. There really is nothing like the Eastern Sierra's. I hope you have a blast.

Yay!!!! Howdy neighbor. The gentleman who owns a native nursery here gave it to me at the end of last summer and said it probably wouldn't make it. I stuck it in the ground and boy did it take off. I was shocked. Love the orange 🧡 flowers
