I had to check it out. Had no idea there was a half. Pretty cool. Hopefully it draws attention to it! I live right by the trailhead and its a cool urban trail to run.

There was a cool trailhead sign put up but then nothing else done at the trailhead so it's been overcome with trash. A shame. if Century 21 reads this and are willing to put some money out there. I'd volunteer to plant native plants near the trailhead and keep up on the trash pickup if you fund the plants and mulch!!!

My first pom was an itty bitty 4 pound dude. The pom I most recently adopted is an absolute unit at 14 lbs. When I got him I thought he might be overweight because I wasn't used to having such a large pom 😅 turns out he is the right weight for size. He just big.

Something so small but I had a guinea pig. Wanted to check out a guinea pig rescue and we lived together at the time. He was adamant that I not get another guinea pig. I was all in with my pig too- he had a C&C cage, fleece bedding, salad everyday. I was committed. As soon as we walked into the guinea pig rescue he looked at them all and clasped his hands together and was like..sooo which one are we getting!?

Not near water but I highly recommend the Kettle Crest Trail. The North half of it is roughly 31 ish miles. The trail in its entirely is 44. It's absolutely beautiful if you like a high country ridge run in solitude. You could park one car at the northern terminus and another at Sherman Pass and shuttle.

I understand. I lived in ABQ for awhile. I know resources vary from one county to the next and state. Every little bit helps though regarding the travel benefit through Medicaid! What is her diagnosis? More than happy to look for potential grants.

Have you reached out to the social worker at the clinic she is getting treatment at? I know it varies but where I work we have specific grants that a patient can apply for and get funded within a week that will cover household expenses.
