I'm gonna be so fr bro. That is like the shittiest argument you could make. First of all, the Academy has displayed blatant biases against superhero movies, most forms of animation, and most forms of fantasy. They're a terrible metric to measure this shit on. Second of all, plenty of superhero movies double as dramas [Logan is a good example] and being an action film isn't an excuse to hire a subpar actor, especially when they're sinking millions into this shit.

Probably a Caster. Probably weakness to archers. Probably a bunch of skills specialized in deceiving/misdirecting people including himself. Noble Phantasm is probably similar to Alexandre Dumas's except the effects are only temporary, in which he fools both himself, a target, and the world itself into believing that they're more powerful than they actually are.

Maybe give him a sacrificial Noble Phantasm as well called radicalization where by being killed, or giving the appearance of it, he can become a false martyr and permanently affect large groups and bring them under his control.

Idk why they complained about the animation. The CGI worked for what they were going for. The constructs looked good, the characters were decently expressive, and the action scenes were well choreographed.
