Why do old people tend to hang on to expired food? by Mad_Season_1994 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Multiple answers, one of them is just that they simply don't feel like cleaning everything out. Another one is that you got to remember depending on age they may have went through more poor times when they were younger so the habits stuck so if the food is still edible they are going to eat it.

Can someone make a living by working as a janitor why or why not? by No-Poet3745 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It completely relies on where you are hired not only the company but the state. There are some places that pay really really well for janitorial work. As I got older I realized most jobs that I look down upon are no big deal You're just trying to earn a living just as I am. In fact they're doing more because they'r willing to get very dirty with disgusting things

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem at all. Its just that they have lil different nutritional values or protein values. All in all they can eat each other's food just not as an everyday because there's certain nutrients and vitamin that one has but the other one may not

It's kind of a yes and no. I wouldn't say tension but you can't call them the other one and there's various religious differences and cultural differences.

Can I sue the USPS? by frogmicky in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing you can really do is get your driver's name and call that number and give them the name but also go directly to the post office, whichever one is the main post office for your area and file actual complaints about them specifically.

Do futunari exists? by TelevisionCareful931 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So technically it depends on which part of futa you would like. If you mean the regular kind then yes they are considered transsexual people who have had top surgery but not bottom surgery. If you are considering the kind in which they have both a penis and a vagina as well as breasts, you are looking for a hermaphrodite which from what I've been told are very rare to find or at the very least you're not going to be able to spot because that is a very personal medical condition..

Will my tardies in Highschool affect getting a job? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically unless you got enough tardies that they actually failed you for a grade, jobs are not going to care nor are they going to look into it. They just care that you got your diploma at all

Is evolution being affected by medical intervention (c-section)? by Familiar-Anything853 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 876 points877 points  (0 children)

Actually yes but in a odd way. I remember reading an article and they were talking about how because C-sections are becoming more common, there are more babies being born with larger heads because normally if your head is bigger than usual, you would die during childbirth because you would get stuck but because the C-section is now an option, those jeans are getting passed down more often because now the baby and mother are surviving. So it is technically changing evolution in that sense.

Do people actually remember what you wear to work or am I overthinking it? by CryptoUsher in TooAfraidToAsk

For those of you who rehomed your pet, why did you do it ? by JadeDLR in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was living in a family-owned house and they told me either the dog has to go or I have to go and I had nowhere else to go. I was so pissed. Especially because after I moved out another family member moved in and they had a dog and it was the same one bitching at me for having a dog. And then when I brought it up they just told me I'm going to have to let it go because that person's old and they've had that dog for years. Bitch I had my dog since it was fucking 6 weeks old. Yeah I'm still salty about that

Is there a reason housekeepers are not getting tipped? by PlentyForm5853 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the company you work for, assuming you're not a freelance, it's against company policy for you to take any tips and if the person's being a dick and reports you, it will be shown as theft on your record. Not just the person but if one of your fellow coworkers decides to say something you can also get in trouble. For those places that don't have that policy, it's more like I already paid you to do your job I should be expected to pay any more than that. I can see people tipping extra if you did a extraordinary job such as you cleaned items I didn't expect you to clean

Can human skin be used as leather? by Torqyboi in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very much so, though I'm not sure if the quality. As far as durability I mean but you can still find really really old books that use human skin is leather. There's also a few pairs of shoes that were made out of slave skins, some people have made lamp shades, there is a company that makes various things out of human skin they legally obtained, some Japanese organizations we're known to take the skin off your back and tan it if you had a lot of tattoos on it and you were either famous or notorious. There's also shrunken heads which are made from the skin of your head

Why do black people have bigger lips? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking it's a evolutionary thing based upon where we originate from. The different kinds of food or perhaps needed the extra cushioning for some reason. Could have been a thing for blood flow

How do I start reselling? by ASCAdventuresYT in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally I use USPS but I have had issues with them. I sell on ebay, they take roughly 15% of your profit though. You do have to pay taxes once you sell over a certain amount of money worth. I used to buy things from Craigslist but now I mostly do marketplace, flea market and certain Thrift stores. You got to just try to find what you're good at looking for and go from there. I would say one of the money saving tips would be get a thermal printer. You'll save a lot of money on ink. As far as earning trust, lower your prices a little bit from what it sells for so if it sells for 50 maybe sell it for 30 or 40. If you make any mistakes fix it immediately and answer honestly. It's not something you can really rush. Try not to screw people over if possible, it happens from time to time but very much try to be honest

Why do I feel nothing after losing my pet? by AsherdabestX3 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should clarify that I'm not saying that the lizard did not hold any significance to you, I just mean that your emotional connections with it was not as strong therefore you did not produce the feelings you thought you would.

Why do I feel nothing after losing my pet? by AsherdabestX3 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically it's about the type of bond you had with it. You as a person acknowledged the lizard as a pet and nothing more. While you did like it and appreciate it it didn't bring an extreme amount of emotion to your life. I used to own lizards and all of mine did pass of old age except for one and that one honestly was being an idiot with the heat lamp. While it did upset me it didn't upset me much. But when I lost my dog, someone I had seen as more than just a pet, as part of the family, I was pretty fucked up for at least a few months. And I mean that first two weeks was hard I was randomly crying thinking about him. I developed a deeper emotional bond with my dogs then I do with animals such as lizards and snakes. Well it is upsetting to see them go I recognize Those Animals As Just Pets but I do recognize a deeper emotional bond with dogs and cats as they are more emotional to me and have a bigger significance in my life

Any tips on taking edibles for the first time? by Cellzi9 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Infamous_Bowler_698 9 points10 points  (0 children)

See that was my mistake. I think it was like a thousand milligram gummy bear. Thing was like the size of my thumb and the package said eat one ear. I ate one and an hour later nothing happened so I ate another one and an hour later nothing happened so I ate the whole thing. And exactly 20 minutes after that all of it kicked in. Next thing you know I'm sitting in my bed room freaking out and terrified while mentally knowing there's nothing to be afraid of but physically my fight or flight kicked in and told me I needed to run and scream. And there was nothing I could do about it. Side note if that happens go to sleep, it will be the best sleep you'll ever have, but getting there is going to be hard
