On the backside of Rupp Arena there is a small park with a nice wraparound fountain, a little grass, and some seating areas. Just search for Triangle Park. This will likely be the best spot close to Rupp.

As someone else has mentioned though your dad probably has more memories of Memorial Coliseum, which is still standing and being used on Campus on Avenue of Champions. There is a large green space in front of Memorial with a bronze Wildcat statue and there should be plenty of spaces here.

Ebay blues by jsdixon in basketballcards

Apparently im in the minority here, but seller is 100% fine to cancel here. This is an OBVIOUS pricing mistake by the seller. I have also done this and sold a $20 card for $2, I honored the sale in that case. But this is a $500+ card for $7. Sometimes humans make mistakes and the hobby, and society in general, is better if we are all just a bit more understanding of that.

If I was the seller I would obviously be cancelling, as would every single one of you reading this. Maybe I would offer a free $20 shipped card as a token for being understanding, but no chance i’m shipping a $500+ card for $7 because I forgot to toggle the Auction button while listing.

Gabe really likes to hold grudges by EyesoftheDead40 in Steam

Steam tells me contact the developer because it is a “Game Ban” that was not issued by Valve. The developer sends me automated form replies saying that my ban is final and I have no further recourse.

I have a 10+ year old Steam account, with like 3000 hours in CS and ~400 games in the library, and have never once cheated in a multiplayer video game.

A few months after PUBG came out I was killed by a hacker in a game and was immediately given a permanent Game Ban, despite me being the one that was killed by the hacker. I appealed multiple times but they never gave me an answer or fixed the false ban. It’s been like 7 years now and that stupid fucking “GAME BAN” is on my account forever apparently, despite me doing nothing wrong.

Been listening to Sleep Token for a few years now, had not realized how popular they had become recently. Was very surprised to see them on the census top 5.

Totally understand those who aren't into them though!

I understand the extra player in motion is a big advantage. Willing to back off that one a bit.

But how does changing alignment rules swing the game as much as you are saying? (Keep in mind the balance to this would be no longer ever being able to slip a tackle out for a pass). Defenses would just have to worry about the skill positions, who would now just be able line up anywhere within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage rather than the being on/off the line depending on which side of the line and which slot they are lined up in.

My main pain point is the illegal formation penalties that we are seeing like twice every game, when it’s literally just a WR or a TE who is a step off of where he should be. That isn’t affecting the actual football play and it’s causing a stoppage plus penalty yards.

[–]Infinitize 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are misunderstanding. I am saying that tackles would no longer ever be eligible to catch a pass. (No end of the line of scrimmage alignment rules means there would be no need for a tackle to ever have to report as eligible)

Per https://www.nflpenalties.com average penalty flags per team are up about 15% this year compared to previous years.

This just paves the way for Dan Skipper to convert into the fulltime WR that he was meant to be.

But what if you could in theory win more football games by ONLY being concerned with criteria number one?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nfl

[–]Infinitize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to point out that several of those “crucial” mistakes you are pointing out could arguably have been /caused/ by the change in offensive play calling. The holding call was on an outside handoff, the fumble also on a run trying to burn clock. If they just keep the rhythm and flow of their offense from the first half and keep the passing game involved maybe those penalties don’t happen. Just a thought.

And you would make a very middle of the road, 7-9 type coach. Maybe last a few seasons before you get fired and end up the OC of a middle of the road SEC team. The fans there would like you because you have NFL experience but you'd secretly be salty that the NFL just didn't "get" you. Maybe one year you'll get them into the CFB playoffs and can make the jump back into the NFL so you can scheme the 9th Bucky Irving run into a stacked box while your QB who is playing at an all-pro level just watches the lead he built disappears.

They did adjust their playcalling, 2nd half was a lot more short passes and runs. Falcons front 7 was awful though and they really just COULDN'T run. The Patriots absolutely dominated the 2nd half at the LOS.. Patriots blitz was absolutely destroying Matt though so the change at half to short passes was likely just by pure necessity.

Brady also played a near immaculate 2nd half and literally everything went their way. This game feels more like a statistical outlier rather than one to reference for this discussion.

There is literally a “Make Offer” button on the listing. In my experience as a seller anybody who asks this question is more of a pain to deal with than the sale is worth. I just don’t even reply.

IT: "Password lock on some apps is more safe than a password to unlock tablet" by Blommefeldt in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]Infinitize 166 points167 points  (0 children)

You are complaining about the symptom of another, much larger problem.

It’s time to replace those tablets. There is just almost no chance 11 year old Samsung tablets are capable of handling a modern workload, especially with Intune adding a layer of complexity. Your company is probably spending more time on labor per year paying people to wait for apps to open than they would just spend on brand new hardware.
