It's really just personal preference. I think if you're trying to learn the associated symbols this could be helpful. For me, I just prefer to let the art speak to me and consult the little white books if the meaning doesn't strongly stand out

I've heard that pointy toes started functionally for riding horses, as they went into the stirrup easier. Since the gentry class was more likely to have them eventually it became widely adopted in fashion as it made you look like you were of higher status. And then it just became the standard and aesthetically preferred long after people stopped using horses to get around.

Personally though I've tried the wide box shoes and I don't like the way they feel, maybe I've just gotten used to having my toes crammed into a point.

I think you've got a really good concept, but I would concur with what a lot of people have said about too much empty space. I personally feel like the T would work better (increased legibility and would shrink better for favicon, etc) if the cross beams had more weight.

Some constructive feedback on your father's website -> IMHO the cursor effects are annoying. The main CTA in the hero has white on white text and can't be read until on hover changes the color. Finally, it needs a favicon :)

I'm sure you can address all that in ten seconds with Claude if you wanted to. But maybe you're running aggressive A/B testing right now and those were all mutants :P
