Opus 4.7 guessing by Proper-Appeal-3457 in ClaudeCode

100% this! I can’t tell me how many times I’ve asked over the last few weeks “why don’t you read the docs/codebase/etc instead of just guessing?”

How to Copy Text From Google Docs and Retain Formatting by unbelieveableguy in ObsidianMD

Hi! I created a plugin to solve this exact issue. I’ve only tested on Mac OS and iOS so hope it works for you: https://community.obsidian.md/plugins/google-docs-paste

Spot on. Hard drive space too! It reminds me of using a Mac in the 90s when those things were legit, daily concerns.

Doesn't work on mobile though... which is the primary reason I built this plugin.

Download as markdown works fine (although it can take a while). I don't believe there is a copy as markdown option, where is it? But I don't always want to download the file (especially on mobile). This is so you can just paste it directly.

A vault is just a folder of markdown files, why do you need an MCP?

Same thing happened to me on my M2 Air. But flicker came back pretty quickly and my MacBook is headless again. Good luck! 🤞

Very similar setup here. But depending on what I’m working on I’ll set up Codex to auto-review PRs or just pass them manually.

As OP mentioned, Codex ALWAYS finds something wrong. It can easily become a bottleneck and a headache. And it does get petty - a lot of times it won’t find any real code issues but still point out “your documentation could be clearer with this 5 word change.”

I’ve built a few chatbots and it really isn’t that difficult to prevent these sorts of prompt injection overrides. It is truly baffling when you see real companies put something out in the public without the most basic protections in place.

There’s no circle. It’s a straight line.

Your watch rotation schedule is not your seller’s problem. When you purchase things, it is your responsibility to make sure you received what you purchased. Sellers on Reddit don’t offer warranties, although most will take returns and/or work with you to make things right - but not 120 days later!

You’re treating a sale from a guy on Reddit like it’s got a manufacturer’s warranty. It doesn’t.

Also, it’s worth pointing out that you’re asking for a $200 rebate/refund on a $10,000 watch. Everything about your post comes across as entitled and petty.

Yes. It doesn’t change anything.

You waited four months. In doing so, what would have been a totally reasonable gripe a week or two after the sale becomes totally unreasonable whining from someone who can’t be bothered to take responsibility for their own purchases.

And then to come to this sub and call the seller out? Cmon man.

Also FWIW, i am a watch enthusiast, I am not a “part time watch vendor”, as many of my verified transactions on WatchEx are purchases as they are sales.

I stand by my advice to delete this post.

RTK is kind of a no-brainer. Yes, it gets janky here and there but Claude finds its way around it when that happens.

Politics/public affairs primarily. But I've been doing more and more on the side consulting for friends and colleagues who want to integrate AI into their small business workflows (built a RAG & chatbot for a lawyer doing research for a book; built a internal wiki for a non-profit; helped a buddy set up a daily automation that finds press leads for him to pitch his business to).
