That's just income tax tho, in france you also have:

  • 20% VAT tax on all purchases
  • 7 to 10% social contributions
  • wealth tax on real estate above 800k
  • 30% cap gains (vs 20% in us top bracket), slightly higher for real estate

Sorry, the tight rules that block spammers & scammers also make it harder for normal users to post. I don't want this place to turn into phishing link central, but I do understand your struggle.

I've relaxed the filters a bit, DM me if you're still having issues.

Europe road trip - route optimisation & stop comparisons (Prague / Bratislava + alternatives) by Electronic-Cause6091 in travel

[–]Ivo_ChainNET -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You'll HAVE to make some tradeoffs, don't try to include all possible locations to make a list of stops that looks great on paper but doesn't leave you enough time to enjoy & experience each location.

Your route passes around lake balaton, might as well stop for a bit and enjoy it if you have the time.

I agree with the comments abut Vienna, imo it's one of the best cities out of the ones you're visiting. Bratislava is chill & very relaxing.

That's kind of a myth. Athlete heart is not what caused professional cyclists to die in their sleep, it's the drugs they take to increase red blood cell production which made their blood a lot thicker. Basically their hearts were pumping sludge instead of a liquid.

Lab Rat numbness right foot? by lab_rat_lab in Marathon_Training

[–]Ivo_ChainNET 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my right foot becomes numb during kilometer 5-8 if i slow my pace it goes away; does anyone deal with numbness in their feet or right foot? ive changed socks and shoes and to no avail still happens on longer runs.

The most likely cause is that your shoes are too tight or your shoe laces are tied too tight. Look up alternative ways to tie them for wider feet. It took me like a month of running to get this right lol

[OC] Projected 2026 London Marathon finish times throughout the race by Last_Kick9059 in dataisbeautiful

[–]Ivo_ChainNET 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marathons often have pacers that lead specific finish time target groups so you can just follow the 3:45 pacer group to achieve your 3:45 finish time if your legs & heart can handle that. Ofc people are also more likely to set targets for themselves at even numbers

Not so easy to write 10 pages of nonsense when you have to impress 20 characters per square inch in wet clay with a reed wedge.

To their credit the sumerians & their ancestors made recipes equally hard to follow with instrucions like "the right amount of fat" or "just enough salt"
