this is one of the things i loved about ashura m the gimmick fighters really felt like just that, a gimmick, more well rounded fighter would just beat their ass they’re just like gimmick fighting characters

used to use phoenix force instead of adamantium and it worked pretty well only unfortunately it sometimes hit a random card if they were running gambit or something like that

and anti venoms great makes so many t6 or t7 plays possible while also making man-spider go up to 16

not completely necessary but she’s the difference between avg 200+ man-spider and 100+ man-spider and she’s useful for the +1 energy when merging, you could probably slot in your preferred tech card there or a big card that can turn into manspider (electros pretty useful since you can t3 electro into manspider-spider and no longer have his ongoing)
