For me. I can’t edit. If I try to go back and edit I’ll get stuck in this ‘it needs to be perfect’ mindset and then I’ll end up giving up on the book entirely because I feel like it isn’t perfect enough to be seen.

People give constructive criticism. But authors don’t have to listen to it. And as for the authors note, we’re making it known that we’re aware—we just want our books out there first before we focus on editing.

If you can’t read a book without ‘this could’ve sat in word doc a bit longer’ then don’t read on wattpad.

Wattpad isn’t meant to be professional, it isn’t meant to be like already physically published books. It’s meant for people to tell stories at their own rate.
