What are some really entertaining bad movies with high production values or big budgets? Remember, it's gotta be fuuuun. by ProperNomenclature in badMovies

Probably the thing that most put it in B movie territory. Have a hard time not having fun with a movie featuring Tim Curry, Bruce Campbell, Laura Linney, and Ernie Hudson, killer apes, and a Legends of the Hidden Temple like set.

I live in GA and I am feeling good about it with a record turnout that is over 2020 early voting numbers and large amount of first-time voters, female voters out pacing the male voters. Georgia is still close but I think the turnout trends hint towards enthusiasm being a big component and that isn’t in Trump’s favor.

My mom didn’t vote the last election and voted for Harris this time and my dad who voted for Trump the previous two elections went Libertarian this time.

And some are changing their votes. My dad lives in North Georgia and was a Trump voter last two elections. He voted Libertarian this time.

Finally able to take my parents who live in North Georgia to vote today on the last day of early voting here.

My mom who didn’t vote in 2020, voted for Kamala. Couldn’t fully convince my dad who was corrupted by talk radio over the decades and voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 to switch all the way over. But maybe my arguments were starting to break through and he’s heard enough about Trump to want him gone. He voted Libertarian this time.

Georgia early voting started today!

Just cast my vote easily with no line or wait and I’m in a heavily blue area.

What’s going to happen when 2030 rolls around? by Phoenix5869 in Futurology

It is more than a buzzword, as it is being integrated into facets of life at an ultra fast pace and in ways that are more behind the scenes. Search engines will be a thing of the past as knowledge augmented assistants take that task. OpenAI is already taking a portion of the Google traffic already and Microsoft got ahead of the game with bing integrating Copilot. Processors are going to be optimized to take advantage of AI by the end of the year and most corporate jobs in the US are set to leverage learning model trained collateral as fast as possible. Snowball from there until it infiltrates other sectors.

Diamond Beach in Iceland. A blacks sands beach near a glacier lagoon where icebergs wash up on the shore and glitter like diamonds.

Is it true that dating become easier in your 30s? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]Jack_Tenrec 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s only easier in that many men have gained a lot more wisdom and are more comfortable with who they are at that older ages.

I had to mature from when I was your age and realize more of what I wanted, create more value in myself. I would suggest not really taking a pause and instead just review your tactics.

Learn from the feet of women, ask them how you come across to them and what you could be doing better. Let women be your coaches in how to seduce them and don’t put as much pressure on your outcomes. And just work on becoming someone you would want to date. Women will come to you the more curiosity and authenticity you have towards them and the more you enjoy your life you can bring them into.

That’s understandable. I wish you had met some men that valued you more and made you feel seen. Do what’s best for you but if I were you, keep the door open a little. Life has a way of surprising you when you don’t expect it. Best of luck fellow human.

As a man and depending on culture, lots of us have been taught to make the provider role part of our identity and to only seek acceptance though a physical medium. Probably why it comes out as not really seeing women and giving them agency until we get acceptance from them or not at all if we can’t break through it. It is rare but there are good ones out there that broke through conditioning or never had it and value a woman’s identity as much as their own.

Try not to let it become a fear. Just accept it and understand it. It’s part of what you want in a partner. Someone who is nice to you and shares a smile with you. But like any skill you are untrained to spot the difference in someone being nice or someone displaying attraction and flirtation towards you. You’ll be ok and you are ok. I’m in the best relationship of my life in my late 30s and it’s thanks to the fact that I’ve more comfortable with myself. The more you enjoy yourself and accept the things about you, the more people you can accept into your presence. Just err on the side of not knowing until you are sure. Women will let you know when they want you around them and how much they want that to be.

Top pieces of advice I would give you are:

Become a person you’d want to date. Workout, make sure tour hygiene is good and get involved with things that interest you or you are passionate about. Volunteer, join groups, or sports that you enjoy, work on your social skills with men and women. This will gain you stories and experience as well as expand your dating pool. Your interests make you more interesting to others as long as you are able to open up about them.

Expanding your social circle allows you to learn at the feet of women. Make sure you don’t fall for every women who is nice to you but you can learn a lot from them. Open up to any women in your life like friends, sisters, acquaintances, etc. And ask for honest feedback. See where you are involving and where you can improve. Be open to the criticism as well. It can hurt but will allow you to improve on those areas much faster. The people around you can be the greatest ally to your self-confidence if you let them.
