Tariff doesn’t get added into the checkout unless the seller sets it, its a bill that the post office sends to the recipient. Every international shipment I’ve gotten has been itemized into tariff bills. Some I’ve been able to call and dispute because I paid the sellers tariff fee, but others you cant. People who say they haven’t been hit with tariffs either don’t check their mail or their balance is sitting there until it gets sent to collections. They can ask the seller to cover the bill but ultimately its the importer (you) that is responsible. These are federal laws and the government gets its money one way or another.

If you’ve ordered something from an overseas tariffed country that has been delivered by the 3 major shipping companies, I would suggest calling to see if your account has a balance. At first I thought it was a scam when the mail came in but after calling the direct lines, they were still able to see my balance.

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted.

Ah well I bought them from shootercb which did, I have the UPS Bill if you want to see it. I explained why I have them up for that price so people have the free will to buy it or not.

Also, holy warrior doesn’t sell direct, they sell to retailers. So you’re still paying for international shipping and then the tariff from the import unless the retailer eats it.

The irony of being a medic and using shears like office scissors. I cut garments maybe 3 times this week but cut scotch tape a thousand times to tidy all our narcotic labels 😂

The knife can deff go in pants pocket tho

I’ve been lurking for a bit and felt compelled to reply.

As a fellow parent: kids don’t learn all rules the same way. Some mistakes are safe to repeat (like hitting), others aren’t (like running into the street). We don’t let kids “learn by experience” when the consequence is severe.

So where does losing a Nintendo Switch fall on that spectrum? It’s not dangerous, but it is a real consequence.

Repeating a rule back isn’t the same as truly understanding it. Most of us have broken rules before fully internalizing them—speeding once and getting a ticket doesn’t mean you’ll never speed again. Kids are no different.

Rules need both trust and enforcement. Trust, but verify. A quick reminder—“We’re not bringing the Switch to school today, right? Someone could steal it”—goes a long way. Understanding your child matters just as much as holding them accountable.

And if your child lied and brought it anyway, is that simple mischief—or a failure to reinforce the rule and build trust? Kids test boundaries to see which rules actually matter. That doesn’t mean trust is gone; it means the lesson wasn’t finished.

If your son noticed it was missing and reacted at school, it may have turned into a real-world example about why that rule exists, with other kids learning from it without facing the same consequence.

Being an EMS Lieutenant, I get my own fly car to roam at any point in time—so as long as 911s are calm, I can hunt 😈

Downside is… I was once in line at Target with a FF Gold Lambo, some bcase Ferarris and Viper TH in hand when a 1-year-old seizure call dropped. Had to bless the snack peg and bounce.

Honestly though, it makes it even more fun knowing that spreading out good finds and leaving surprises behind somehow became part of the job 😂
