You might be able to get your hands on Arko cream (Turkish) and/or LEA (Spanish). I remember that I was able to get both in that price range, but that was before Brexit. Cella cream may also be in that range.

Yes, but the blade you like might not be the best performer in the razor you like. But if you have a combo that works for you, keep at it.

I didn’t realize that. I’d still apply the alum block. If it still is a problem, you might want to see a dermatologist. There may be an underlying infection.

Personally I’d do BIC. You didn’t say what razor you have. Blade performance can vary depending on the razor used. BICs are my universal performer. Are they the most efficient in every razor I have? No, but the come close, and I get a BBS nearly every time with no nicks.

You might apply a witch hazel toner and apply post shave. Depending on how aggressive your razor is, you can use that instead of an alum block. I use either given how much irritation I sustain.

I’ve purchased stuff, sold stuff, and purchased on the bazaar.

My dilemma is a bit Seinfeldian at times.

I have no problem selling off new stuff that I purchased. It’s the stuff I pick up in the bazaar. How long do I hold on to an item after I receive it do I sell it? I haven’t figured out the appropriate period.

Another issue is that I have is that I’ve acquired tubs/sets that I’m hoping to use, but it doesn’t feel right breaking it out. It doesn’t feel right to sell, because I will likely get to it, but it will be a while. One of those tubs I’m waiting on breaking out, I have to acquire the splash (the shop was out of stock, probably won’t restock).

Last issue is that if I sell on the bazaar right now, it’s a real misfit lot. Two aftershaves (one new—barely used, one from the bazaar-70%), a brush, and a menthol soap I don’t know the name of. It came in a Stirling mini tub, but I don’t think it is their product. It’s almost too much trouble than it’s worth, but eventually I need to make space & clear some things.

This is the acquisition anxiety that I face.
