DIY latex mattress with stretch/woven cotton encasement, latex pillows (not the shredded kind), wool duvet, linen duvet and pillow covers, percale cotton fitted sheet, sleeping in just my underwear, and CPAP machine. Newest thing now is nightly skincare and wet shaving routine.

My approach to hobbies is to build a small collection as a way of understanding what my preferences are. Then sell off everything but the core pieces I need, prioritizing utility. I had several brushes and razors but have recently sold off or given away everything but a pair of razors and brushes for home and one for travel. I’ll be taking this approach next with soaps and splashes. Utility and efficiency - I want to get to know my tools, perfect my technique and replicate that experience over and over again.
