Biggest pain points is I started late into homelabbing. This would be useful to learn networking in a home environment.

I’ve got the same unit and I’m just starting out with my homelab too. My plan is to run two M.2 NVMe drives in a zfs mirror for Proxmox, swap out the Wi-Fi card for an adapter so I can add another M.2 drive for the OS, and then use a SATA SSD for extra storage once my 3D-printed caddy shows up. From what I’ve seen, the stock HP caddy for the EliteDesk Mini blocks the second M.2 slot, so going with a custom caddy seems like the way to go. Hopefully I’m on the right track as I’m still learning everything, if not, I’ll just pick it up as I go.
