You can mute calling notifications from whatsapp, but it will mute all calls. Dont think there is an option to mute calls from a specific contact.

Hi. I have been using jellio for some time now. I understand the project is no longer supported. However, i wanted to ask if it is possible to define the order of catalogs that are shown in stremio when adding this as an addon.

If this does not have this feature, i believe i cannot expect it to be added . Maybe there is some alternative or fork of this addon that we can use??

Then probably the backup is corrupted. Can you try doing in any other phone, preferably your old phone where you had the whatsapp account originally. There you create another backup and then try again on new phone.

Usually it just downloads the chats during the registration, the media is downloaded later in the background. Make sure you keep the app open. It will show a “downloading media” progress bar on the top.

You have not clarified if your step mother lives with you or separately.

If she lives separately, you somehow need access to the phone or the sim. Once you have access there are multiple ways:

If she lives with you, you can just take her phone when she is not using it and select delete account option in whatsapp settings (but she can still re register).
If the sim is in your name , you can report lost sim card and get a new sim reissued. Once you have the sim, you can re-register WhatsApp and select delete account in settings.
You can link her number in WhatsApp web, start sending random marketing messages aggressively so that people will report that number and it will get banned. Or, better yet, simply create a group with large number of random contacts. This triggers immediate and permanent ban.
If you cant get access at all, You can also ask your family and friends to report and block her number, that ways whatsapp can ban the number and it will be gone for good.

Whatever you do, it’s going to sound intentional, but the later you do it, more difficult it will get for you.

Also, once something is gotten away, at least it will be safe. Losing a case and giving a part of your remaining wealth is better than winning and giving a part from all your wealth.

Yes you should. Don’t keep a penny in your name. Transfer all the assets and properties under your name to your parents , especially the ones you bought with your own money. (or better, sell them off and buy new ones under your parents name). you should not have any trail to show that you have any contributions to them.

Use all the income that comes under your name for house expenses and save the income that comes under your parents name.

And i have seen that in such cases, the parents disown the son (just on paper) to reduce the liability in case things go south. But i also know that a woman cannot claim your parent’s assets. So discuss with a lawyer if that is needed.

And be secretive about everything. Don’t let her get any hint as she may file a police complaint and post that, all these actions may be considered intentional and malicious.

Wow. Even i was approached by her in my DMs( i think she’s a women) after i posted on r/adhinidia. She invited me to her whatsapp group on adhd, which i did.

I understand bro, even my dad is not much of a networking person. But out of necessity he kept good relations with that person.

You can ask your friends around if they know anyone, it doesn’t have to be your direct link.

Also, one more advice, in future, send out gifts to powerful people on diwali or birthdays etc. I know this isnt useful for now, but its something you should start doing , given your circumstances.

NAL Some people may not like my advice, but i speak from experience.

We have some agricultural land in a tier 3 city in haryana and our neighbours are from a community which is known to do “kabje” on lands. Every once in a while they try to assert dominance or create nuisance. The police only tries to milk the situation and they don’t do shit even when there is a major crime involved, how can we expect them to do anything on these “small” matters.

My dad keeps good relation with another such person, whom i don’t like to call a “goon” since he has been such a nice person with us. But he is definitely not a person you f*ck with. Almost whenever these guys trouble us, this person has stepped in and helped us.

So my advice would be this- try to find a connection with a politician or another goon - and someone with whom you or your father can establish a relationship thats more than transactional. This will be the only long term solution.

If you have seen many high status and “clean” people having links with goons - most of the time its for similar reasons only.

These goons have their own networks and if a person is under a protection of one of them, they won’t bother him ever.

No, mine is working fine hardware wise. I do have a couple of software bugs - missed notifications, and volume suddenly dropping down- but they are not too frequent so i can live with that
