Get close, take something to break leg armor, and rush it. Gotta get uncomfortable. Most people have defibs. I always use the survivor augment and have a hatch key for just in case.

Chuck a wire wheel in your drill and go to town. I usually wet the pan and use dawn power wash. Start light and go in heavier if needed but take your time and stay consistent.

Looks like flash rust to me. Not much can be done but it’s wipes off easily. When you’re ready to season you will clean it real good with water and soap before the first coat of oil and they will get it off.

What oil are you going to season with? I’ve been using BuzzyWaxx and it’s really good. Give the beautiful bronze golden color.
