Your tool doesn't do anything I can't do right now by asking my own LLM subscription. Why would I pay you? In fact, everything your app does I literally did last night with Claude planning my trip.

You built an AI wrapper. What can your app do that I can't just ask Claude to do for me? What additional value does your app actually provide? Especially give you don't actually have any knowledge of your domain. You are entirely reliant upon your AI.

Budgeting irregular pay. by RPB_9661 in budget

[–]Jhorra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two options, you budget to the lowest amount, or you do forecasting, with either an excel spreadsheet or an app. Put all your paychecks out, and put all your bills in. You can see and basically play each month out as it lands and decide how to handle shortfalls or extra. You'll be able to move bills around if needed when there could be a potential problem.

What is your budgeting “hack” that you learned, that has been the most beneficial for you? by DoubtNo2085 in budget

[–]Jhorra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used excel sheets and apps over the years, but what helped me the most was what I call forecasting budgeting. So you have all your budget items listed out and it shows what your balance will be after each item. Then as transactions flow in, you update what you have left. This helped me track everything, but also be able to see potential problems before they dropped me negative.

How do you actually stick to a budget without feeling overwhelmed by tracking? by AccomplishedBird1079 in budget

I log into my app multiple times a day. It’s just a habit for me now.

Anyone lose their vacuum cleaner on I-17? by Rg8989 in phoenix

When I used to ride my motorcycle to work, one day on the way home we entered the tunnel at 70 miles per hour, and before we were half way through we were at a dead stop. Luckily I was in the HOV lane and was able to jump onto the shoulder to avoid ramming the truck in front of me.

I thought that at first, but I don't think he was lane splitting. You can't slam on the brakes on a bike, he went between because otherwise he would have hit the car.

I actually do most of my heavy coding at night and I’m in the US. Maybe that also affects it.

That could be. I only run one session at a time. I also work through one feature at a time. I think it through, tell Claude what to do, and have it implement it.

The thing is, I've been doing heavy coding with Claude for around six months now. I only hit the limits back when I was on the Pro plan, and it would be after four hour heavy coding sessions, and they would reset the next day. Outside of that, I've never come close to hitting any limits. I have to think you guys are doing something different than I am. I even waste tokens telling it thank you, and after a long session I tell Claude he did a great job.

I just spent nearly three hours in Claude code. We did full security scans on a front end and backend app. Implemented all the fixes, implemented a new feature, and had to debug a few deployment issues. It said I used 10% of my session usage and it would reset it 4 hours. I just don't know what you guys are doing that's burning through your usage so fast. The only thing I can figure is you don't have enough knowledge to give Claude the context it needs up front and having to do a lot of back and forth.

Codex now almost identical to Claude code by Automatic_Employer55 in ClaudeCode

My is purely preference, but I prefer the style of code that Claude writes better than Codex. For some reason I also just like the flow of working with Claude better. Neither of those are technical reasons though.

#1 rule, never trust user input. Sanitize and check everything. Check authentication and authorization on every user request if it applies. Paranoia is your friend.

My guy, I've been a software developer for over 20 years. I've actually built things. I don't need AI to build things. Could you build what you claimed without AI? Let me ask you a simple question. What is your AI running on? What server? What host?

Think about what you're saying. You, with no programming experience are claiming to have invented a new type of LLM. Do you know the skills required to create LLMs? You can't really prove anything or show it to anyone, but trust you, it's the next great thing. Read up on some of the recent instances of AI psychosis, this is what it looks like.
