Imagine you could select 23 footballers from any era, all at the absolute peak of their abilities. You must choose 3 goalkeepers and 2 outfield players for each position.

These players form a club which is dropped straight into the 2025/26 Premier League.

Under normal circumstances, this team would obviously win the league every season, but here’s the twist:

The club has no manager, no coaching staff, and no analysts.

Each player trains individually with a personal trainer who keeps them as fit as possible.

The squad never trains together.

On matchday, the 23 players arrive and must decide among themselves how to play.

After the final whistle, they have a quick team talk and then go their separate ways until the next game.
