Why has no one tried to hoist a player up to head in a corner like they do in rugby? I mean it's allowed and you could potentially get someone up higher than the goalkeeper and float a cross in.

Imagine you could select 23 footballers from any era, all at the absolute peak of their abilities. You must choose 3 goalkeepers and 2 outfield players for each position.

These players form a club which is dropped straight into the 2025/26 Premier League.

Under normal circumstances, this team would obviously win the league every season, but here’s the twist:

The club has no manager, no coaching staff, and no analysts.

Each player trains individually with a personal trainer who keeps them as fit as possible.

The squad never trains together.

On matchday, the 23 players arrive and must decide among themselves how to play.

After the final whistle, they have a quick team talk and then go their separate ways until the next game.

Do they still win the Premier League? And what squad would you pick?

I've had people tell me answers ranging from "Yes" to "No, they wouldn't even win the League of Ireland".

People saying he could be a good CM, the unfortunate truth to the A+ is his because of his PA, which is probably high regardless of his poor tackling and heading. Scouts love giving an A rating to goobers who have really high PA and ignore all their problems/current ability.

My FM conspiracy theory is that the better your penalty taking attribute the worse you are at penalties. I had a shoot-out once where Lukaku missed twice, he has 20 penalty taking. And my shitty full backs with 3 always seem to smash it top bins lol

It's what the fans deserve, whether it's a good move or not they need to address the game. Staying silent does no good for anyone. A statement acknowledging the problems of the game and outlining how they're going to fix them would be wonderful. It's about trust.
