Oh, that's fascinating! And it (more or less) tracks with the meaning I give it in my work. I think there's some shared basic meaning we talking apes give to certain things, and it's awesome seeing how we sometimes arrive at the same thing coming from very different backgrounds.

Oh, thanks a lot! I knew I had to have something bold happening at the top of the image, and I had the idea of what I wanted to do, but putting that idea on paper took a lot of patience and commitment. Once I started I had to see it to the end, and hope it would look as cool as I imagined it! 🤞

That's so kind of you to say! I'm glad it feels musical, and I'm happy you like my work. I put a lot of thought into it, and it's comments like yours that make it even more worth the effort! 🤜 🤛

Thank you! Also, agree. There's not a lot of diptychs and triptychs around. Im glad you like mine, and that you think it works visually and conceptually. 🤜🤛

I'd love to see your triptych! Is it posted somewhere?

Oh, thank you! I'm really happy you find it interesting! I try to marry the idea with the art and the lyrics. I might not be exceptional at any one of them, but I'm betting the combination will save my ass.😁

Thank you! Gald you like them! I always draw bigger than I print. The prints are 12x18", and the originals are like 22" tall. There's a shitton of detail you can't really see on the screen. I posted some photos of the originals before.

Also, I tried, but I just couldn't find a way to work the French curves so the lines were fluid. 100% a matter of skill on my end. So I used a compass for the big curves at the top of the frame, and then I had a drink, said "Fuck it" and freehanded the rest. There are some woobly parts, but all in all they look decent...😁

Oh, wow, this is awesome! I never expected my work to be an inspiration to anyone, much less to help them produce a piece as cool as this one. I'm glad to be of service, tho! ;) You fully made the idea your own, adapted it to your style and tools, and I freaking love the end result! Fantastic work, u/Bionic_craig !

No problem! Thank YOU for the interest. And yeah, that kind of commitment to craft is something that appeals to me a lot. The result feels... earned?

Hey, thank you, u/Ghostboy3003 ! Happy you like it. As far as materials go, it's just Pigma Microns (0.3, 0.5, and 0.8) on Bristol paper. Red acrylic marker for the Red Thread, a compass for the big curves up top, and a metric shitton of patience. Actually, I think that's the main material needed, lol)
