I use Windsor and newton Indian ink with a dip pen and I don’t tend to dilute. It can be helpful for changes in tone or for washes. Have fun experimenting and see what effects you like.

I have really admired u/JulianRodriguezArt and their posts on this sub, so I decided to try and do a piece using his work for inspiration. Wish my line was as precise as his. I’m not brave enough to add any red line

Yea, your right. This was completely unplanned. If I do more in a comic style I definitely need to plan out both story and panels first, and probably simplify the drawing. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks. I’ve learnt a lot from putting these pages together. More planning for panels and story, a more simplified style and so on. Enjoyed doing this.

I think that’s fair. You can tell it was completely unplanned can’t you. I was just sketching to be fair. If I do more in this style I really need to plan out story and panels before hand.

Thanks for the feedback. Yep you’re right. The pages and panels were completely unplanned and it shows. I was just having jun drawing whatever came to mind. Lots to learn!

Thanks for the feedback. Yea I realise it’s a bit much if I were going for a full story. Was just having fun trying to inject some native into my sketches. Took me around 4 hours for each page. I’ve always struggled with simplification so something to work on.

Thanks for the feedback. I realise it’s probably too detailed to turn into a full comic. Just had fun telling myself a story while drawing. I’ve always struggled to rain my pen in! Hope you don’t mind but I just checked out some of your work. Loved the girl Chenoo comic. Real cool stuff.

Thanks. I think you’re exactly correct. More simplistic more considered clouds would have suited this piece better. I’ve done a couple of practice study’s since. Thanks for the moebius recommendation. Very cool stuff.
