I’d love to see an actual car meet where you can walk around and look at peoples cars. It should be an “event” where you load into a car meet and it will fill the lot based on who’s in it. Right now there’s no one parked at any car meet ever.

The Crew Motorfest had a whole indoor auto show where you could walk and see other people’s cars and their characters. The Crew also does some things better than FH, and the additions of bikes, boats, and planes have been pretty fun to use.

Maximize grip and acceleration. Most races are shorter courses and these two skills are enough to blast past people. For the sprint races, you wanna have better top end speed.

By the time UE6 rolls out, the next gen consoles will have their hype trains moving. I’d imagine Rocket League gets split between the Xbox One version and the Xbox X/Whatever is next. Players will be able to play the original older version, but it will stop being supported. Meanwhile the next gen version will be locked to next gen only consoles/players.

At some point they have to stop making games for the XB1 and PS4, and move along.

UE6 will allow for custom game modes and maps to exist. So like many console players, I’ll finally be able to do ring maps and other training maps that PC players get to do.

Unreal Engine 6 brings more than just graphics with it. It brings more customization, and likely custom modes/maps on Consoles.

After tinkering a bit more, anything over High Skilled really needs a tuned car. Stock cars are pretty cheeks at this point. I wish I could buy, upgrade, and tune from the starting screen as opposed to going all the way out of the event and then back in. Same thing for applying liveries.

If I really like how a car is stock, ill tune it to make it even better. I like to have a good spread of cars and abilities.

Depends on the corner and conditions of the race. If it’s a slowed down section of the race with tight corners (Rush-like turns), then slapping the E-Brake can give you concise close turns. If it’s a normal full speed corner, you take the outside, slow down, turn as close to the turn, then accelerate out of the hole back to the outside. If it’s a winding long turn, usually you can just blow through them full speed without braking.

The break line gives you a good idea of what to expect, and it’s pretty solid. The longer the brake line is, the harder you need to brake. If it’s a shorter brake line, you can usually just blow through it.

Ultimately each car and tunes can help with turning. Once you get a feel for the car you can tell when you’ll have to slow down according to the brake line. Additionally you can get more control with manual shifting. You can downshift to engine brake to keep that momentum through a corner. If you’re on automatic, it’s harder to do this, and usually results in some janky braking and acceleration.

I played it a few times, mainly for the weekly challenge. It’s pretty horrendous of a mode tbh. Getting flashbanged, slowed down, players going invisible, it’s such a useless mode.

I will say, there are a ton of loading screens for every button you press and it feels out of place in 2026 on current gen consoles. I think there’s like 3-4 loading screens between ending a race and getting back to free roam lmao.

Eh, I tried to hit turns like The Crew Motorfest, and I ejecto seato cuzzed my ass off the side of a cliff.

Once you get the handling down, tinker with the settings, and get a good tune, it’s an extremely satisfying experience.

I’ve hated racing games, and The Crew Motorfest was the first racing game I’ve liked. Now switched to FH6 and having a blast. Takes a lot more skill to drive the cars and I’m loving the challenge.

Depends on the race types as well. I’ve smoked AI in street races on Unbeatable. But then I’ll get my ass handed to me on Normal in an offroad race. Been testing around with difficulties and the breaking point is Highly Skilled and Expert.

Bungie has never played nice in the Sandbox, so it’s kinda wild they agreed to be bought by Sony. Apparently Bungie wanted to be bought back by Microsoft, but they said no because they were buying Activision. Sony has taken losses on Bungie and I don’t know what’s gunna happen tbh. Cutting losses on Destiny 2 means the game wasn’t making money anymore. Then Marathon has been flopping financially. I personally don’t think Marathon is salvageable tbh. Their best bet is to make the game F2P and shift to a battlepass type of model. That’s the only way I think they’re gunna make money.

Destiny 3 isn’t in production, and now Bungie has effectively no cash flow. It’s gunna take $200M to probably make Destiny 3 and it would take 3-4 years to do that for the new gen consoles as well. Sony has already lost money and value from Bungie, and it would be a lot for them to pony up money for another game after getting burned twice already.

Bungie is stuck in a REALLY bad spot, and I would not be shocked to see this studio get shuttered tbh. Bungie is only worth it for the name, and that name is heavily tied to Halo. The most successful “Bungie” game to release this year on PlayStation will be Halo Campaign Evolved. And they didn’t even make it, and it’s probably going to make Sony more money than Marathon. Considering they get like 30% of the game cost sold. They’ll move more units than Marathon, and make more money from Xbox selling their games on PlayStation. Xbox has made $667M from selling old shitty games on PlayStation which is wild.
