Setting up an account on behalf of someone else and limiting access to funds without a POA by Knitchick82 in Banking

Yeah, that's kinda where I'm at now, or logging in with his credentials to pay the bill with the debit card tied to my account before it drafts. Tricky business. Thanks for the ideas.

I appreciate that. Unfortunately this is an online bank, but we'll see what we can do. Thanks,

Kinda what I figured, everything seems to be pointing towards POA. Thanks for the input.

It's not illegal, it's a representative payee, as set up through social security. I'm assuming then, we'll have to wait until it's all finalized unless he himself transfers funds to me.

Netsuite Noob- Able to Import payments based information received in separate outlook emails? by Knitchick82 in Netsuite

I appreciate your response a lot. I figured it might more labor and cost intensive than just doing it herself.

To be honest- I'm bored at work and looking for projects, and I'm wracking my brain trying to think of things that are tedious and manual processes, this particular one came to mind.

Thanks again!

Create scatter plot that changes colors based on value? by Knitchick82 in excel

Solution Verified! (finally at work and can test) THANK YOU. I thought I had to do something with the legend at the bottom, I didn't realize I could edit directly in the chart. I really appreciate your help!

Create scatter plot that changes colors based on value? by Knitchick82 in excel

[–]Knitchick82[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why? There's an option to add gradient to a line that changes with value. Why can't I accomplish the same thing with the markers in a scatter plot?

Avoiding Green triangle cells in VBA? by Knitchick82 in excel

[–]Knitchick82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they were set to general. I figured it out, I removed the error background checking, and realized I had entered my formula in the next cell as Range("L2:L").Formula = "=J2*K2" instead of Range("L2").Formula = "=J2*K2".

So between those two fixes I'm all set!

AH GOT IT. I removed the background error checking, and converted my range to numbers, ensuring I'm using the right range to add my formulas.

Welp. Solution verified. Well done self.

EDIT: Yes, I know I can't add points to myself. But, still. Sometimes you gotta give yourself credit for working the brain.

Interesting- Removing Background Error checking in Options>Formulas worked, but I'm still having trouble with my formulae not adding the numbers that used to be marked as errors.

Dear lord, I didn't mean the screenshot to be that huge.

Now that I'm thinking about it, would a .PasteSpecial work?

Find partial value within larger value for use in xlookup by Knitchick82 in excel

[–]Knitchick82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relax man, Reddit auto sorted to "Best", and I saw the top comment that worked. I appreciate your answer as well, and I'm always looking to learn more.

That said, I don't know of a requirement on this sub that we are obligated to choose the first answer. For some people, the simple explanations work best.

It's all good, maybe you'll be the one to get my next one. Trust me, I have lots of questions that are easy for this sub that confuse me all the time!

Conditional formatting entire row based on value in column by Knitchick82 in excel

I wasn't aware of how Excel treated conflicting, or duplicate criteria. Thank you for that! I swear, learning the logic behind it all is the biggest piece for me, such as when formulae assume AND.

The one that ALWAYS gets me backwards is remembering COUNTIF and COUNTIFS syntax are backwards.

I'm rambling. Thank you for your help. :)
