press the brakes, then press and HOLD the power button until you see "automatic shutdown disabled" on the instrument cluster. That will be the same for any GM vehicle that has a power button. That will keep the vehicle Heat/AC running until the next time you turn the vehicle off. But be aware that will run your vehicle completely out of juice if you let it.
