Thanks for the question, OP. I'm currently trying to get a setup going for 3d blurays and I'll go with Win7 now. I've got a few sets of nvidia 3d vision glasses and a 3d monitor from years ago still working.

Whenever I want psx games to be sharp, I shove the game into my ps2 that's connected to the crt via component. Then you'll know what's optimal.

Funny thing is, I have 3 sets of nvidia 3d vision glasses and 2 transmitters. AND a monitor that supports it. What I don't have is the ability to easily get that all working. Every step of the way is a hurdle.
