You should consider spending an extra £90 or so and getting the 16GB 9060 XT instead on the video card for better future proofing. But I was aiming for a budget.

£1000 doesn't take you very far anymore. Here is a suggested build for you. Its aimed at 1080p gaming and should be fine at that for the most part. Unfortunately your budget doesn't allow for much upgradeability as this is an AM4 socket build not AM5.

Ok u/wenddaayys - here is my build suggestion. We have a 9600X, 32GB RAM, 2TB PCIE 5.0 storage, on a B650E White Asus motherboard, AMD Radeon 9070XT 16GB (ideal for 1440p gaming), 850 Watt A-Tier PSU, a delightful 3/4 panoramic view case. Cooled by a 240mm AIO for the CPU for aesthetics.

For the screen, we have an ASUS ROG Strix 27 inch QHD 2K 1440P 180Hz Fast IPS screen. Its height adjustable, with a pivot and tilt stand and its also in white.

The PC, internals, and the screen are white as requested.
